gotta love frosty winter mornings.
it was brrrrr chilly cold this morning but now I'm wrapped up snug as a bug.
What's on for your day today?

Also - shorts or jeans?
(, Tue 16 Jun 2009, 10:09, 102 replies, latest was 16 years ago)
Today I shall mostly be
sitting on my balcony with cold beer, my laptop, a book and my mp3 player. Possibly some sandwiches. I will be wearing a vest and hotpants and lashings of suncream factor 15.

Godamn it's hard work being unemployed.

Not too shabby thanks
I have a trial shift tomorrow sarf of the river and they're gonna pay me mega bucks for the day. Most places expect you to do it for free.

Revision.

But just three more days and I shall be FREE! Free, I tell you!

At which point I shall have to make a costume for a 2-day Moulin Rouge party.

Will this be used for pole dancing at the party

Both for the question, and the statement!
(, Tue 16 Jun 2009, 10:43, Reply)
No pole dancing :)
But, the outfit will latter be modified and added to for use in my upcoming belly dance performance.

Two day Moulin Rouge party?
Coolio.

Try to get someone to do the tango to the extremely slow version of Roxanne a la the film. One of the most erotic things I've ever seen in film.

Its an 18th,
So everybody will be far too wasted to do anything that needs any form of concentration... me included :D

or perhaps we can fix it somehow? if everybody stopped sweating there'd be less heat and moisture, ergo it'd be less humid!

And sparkly shoes.

Are you just trying to re-enact the wizard of Oz using only shoes?
(, Tue 16 Jun 2009, 10:44, Reply)
Nope, purple
I have metallic green ones, shimmery blue with a big jewel, bronzy ones, shiny gold flats, shiny black ones, lots of patterned ones...

and Doc Martens.

Purple metallic ones :D

You should see my wardrobe. I think I have over 60 dresses? I'm addicted to Retro Rehab's £1 box. And charity shops. And shopping.

(, Tue 16 Jun 2009, 11:19, Reply)
*jaw drops*
Oh wow. I wish I could go shopping with you. I'm just getting into vintage and charity shops.
I got my leavers do dress off here: www.etsy.com - they do some great vintage stuff.

I have a ridiculous amount of jeans though.
(, Tue 16 Jun 2009, 11:31, Reply)
I'm just patient. And I don't like wearing the same things as other people.
My way of shopping is look at the price, see if I like it, see if it fits. If it's too big but cheap, get it. If it's too small but cheap, buy it and put it in the when-I-get-dysentery pile.
(, Tue 16 Jun 2009, 11:40, Reply)
Oooh sparkly shoes - nice!
I'm wearing really stupidly high shoes today, I brought them and didn't actually realise how tall they make me. I'm currently looming over six-foot tall guys in my office - its fun! :)
(, Tue 16 Jun 2009, 10:51, Reply)
That is fun :)

And I've tried. Oh how I've tried!

(, Tue 16 Jun 2009, 11:05, Reply)
Me neither
moving to London has turned me into a proper girl. I used to be quite happy in trainers, jeans and tees, now I'm flouncing around in dresses and heels - its strange, I blame the girls in my office!?!
(, Tue 16 Jun 2009, 11:07, Reply)
Damn those office girls *shakes fist*
I dread the day when I get a proper job and have to dress smart every single day. And have to wear... duh duh duh... skirts!
(, Tue 16 Jun 2009, 11:13, Reply)
Awww
its will be a sad day for you indeed.

Before London I always wore jeans to work and it was so nice, now I have to spend money on a 'work wardrobe' and it makes me sad! :(

Still, had to get used to wearing dresses at some point, weddings and stuff! Bah!
(, Tue 16 Jun 2009, 11:16, Reply)
I've got completely into wearing heels
It's weird wearing flats now.

Personal favourites are Clarks heels, you get some nice ones - got some ace blue and grey T-bars - and they're really comfy with thick heels.

Irregular Choice are all of the win, though I have no money :(
(, Tue 16 Jun 2009, 11:15, Reply)
Aww
I LOVE Irregular Choice shoes, they're super! I also really like ART shoes too, they're kooky! :)

Currently I have many shoes under my desk at work - the scary ones are the Kurt Geigers, they are ouchy but so so pretty!!

(, Tue 16 Jun 2009, 10:49, Reply)
It's already there mate
You missed it
(, Tue 16 Jun 2009, 10:54, Reply)
Hardly surprised
If the Honda Accord is the official online angrymobile, and a pink Micra convertible is the Flouncemobile, then we need some sort of official pandatron car, something used by sleazy middle aged men to entice impressionable teenage girls.

Any suggestions

I really have too much time to think this morning.
