Fuckin' hell, it's quiet.
Where are you all this evening? Down the pub?

We have Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for the PS3. It is all of the awesome.

Watching my new War of the Worlds dvd
The musical version. Tom Cruise can sod off. Plus I have beer.
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:10, Reply)
I have pasta and nuggets and internets. Want beer though.
Still don't like War of the Worlds though; the Tom Cruise version was bloody awful *hides from scary Martians with cushions*
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:12, Reply)
The musical version rocks
I've seen all four films - just need to actually read the book at some point!
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:17, Reply)
The musical version
as in Jeff Wayne?
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:18, Reply)
Yes, that one
Loved the original recorded. Just watched the DVD of the tour, and I really want to go and watch it now!
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:19, Reply)
Gives me Teh Fear. Couldn't finish the book for the same reason!
I think somewhere in the back of my mind I think that this could actually happen and we'd all be very very fucked...
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:21, Reply)
yes
I'm fairly sure there must be intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. I think it is a statistically certainty.

However, would they come to this shit-hole of a planet? Nah..
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 23:34, Reply)
I don't understand why people think our planet is a shithole
Imagine, just for a second, that we are the most technologiocaly advanced species in the universe. Sometimes, it's nice to be on top.

*tries to physically restrain herself from typing....
Yes. Yes it is nice.

Hush
You know we get in to trouble we we go off like that. Not that trouble can't be dealt with.

Yes sir. Sorry sir. *bows head*
Please deal with me how you see fit.
(, Sun 28 Jun 2009, 0:24, Reply)
I saw that at the Royal Albert Hall, it was nothing short of TOTAL WIN.
It's seriously the best thing I've ever scene live
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 23:13, Reply)
I'm taking a break from Fallout 3
not that I play. Mr Bin does and I tell him that he's missed things and stuff.
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:14, Reply)
The artist formerly known as Mr Maladicta
is eating tinned spaghetti, nuggets and kicking Jedi arse - when not complaining about the controls - and complaining when I play music he doesn't like!
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:16, Reply)
Best way to play
Then you don't have to deal with the god-awful combat system.
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:16, Reply)
Quite glad we don't have that - neither of us are war game types unless you count RTS's.
Waiting for Dead Rising 2 to come out at the moment, it looks fun! Shredding zombies with lawnmowers :D
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:19, Reply)
It's not normally our kind of game either
both of us can't stand First Person Shooters, but Fallout 3 is different.

Mr Bin has the lunch box and takes his lunch to school in it!
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:20, Reply)
Aww that's sweet :) flatmate has a Pokémon Platinum case for his DS.
Very much into Ratchet and Clank at the moment!
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:23, Reply)
I'm not playing anything at the moment
I'm too busy with work really.

I'm holding out for the new Zelda on the DS.
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:26, Reply)
Never played Zelda.
Yahtzee's Phantom Hourglass review cracks me up though!

Not having it bookmarked. Every so often someone reminds me of it and there's LOADS of episodes for me to watch. :)
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:44, Reply)
I have it bookmarked
but often forget to watch it! That and Spoony...

I am running around like a twat
trying to organize the boyfs suprise 60th birthday party. Which his daughter planned, and invited everyone to, but didn't think to fucking organize food or drinks or anything.
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:25, Reply)
That was clever of her...
Will it be easy to get sorted or do you need to make some "do you know who I am" type calls?
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:28, Reply)
Nah,
everyone's been coming to me anyway so I'm just organizing the shit.
She didn't realize the band might even need paying........and she has no job....so guess who's got that one covered.
She also asked a local chef to do the cooking of the foods......chef wants paying......FUCK!
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:31, Reply)
*headdesks*
So much stress, you poor thing :(
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:33, Reply)
She deliberately didn't tell me about the party
until people needed paying, and food needed to be organized. She just sent out invites (to all of his friends except me)and now expects me to run the show she will take credit for.....grrr!

*readies the trout of sense*
Let me at her!
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:51, Reply)

(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:54, Reply)

*screeches to a Hanna-Barberaesque halt*
Terribly sorry, sir. Please accept this offer of compensation. And the trout. Smells a bit though.
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 23:00, Reply)
Right, now that I'm prettied up
I'm off to the bank to get cash for the chef and the band, then to the store for appetizers. I hope to fuck we pull this off!
(, Sun 28 Jun 2009, 0:16, Reply)
I just watched the first episode of "Make It Or Break It"
It's a drama about the competitive world of teen female gymnasts. I found it very informative *fap fap fap*

Mr Bin has just told me this fact which he would like to share:
99% of the internet is................

most of it.

He is a simple soul

I like this fact.
I wish to use it at every oppertunity.

Evening all
I've just finished watching a shiny new Waking the Dead DVD that arrived in the post this morning. Spent the day up to my waist in fish shit clearing out the pond. Now considering playing PSO if anyone remembers that old thing :P
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:45, Reply)
PSO
as in Phantasy Star Online?
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:52, Reply)
Evening!
Am watching Two Pints with flatmate - he's on his DS at the same time - and drinking the world's loveliest hot chocolate.
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 22:53, Reply)
Achtung!
Mostly bedrunked, have watched "Thankyou for smoking" which was good and am now pottering.

Bed beckons but so does filthy lager ..... Damnable choices.
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 23:03, Reply)
Lager.
Every time.
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 23:03, Reply)
Why not both?
Lager in bed? Although how you can drinkk that damnable piss, I'll never know.
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 23:07, Reply)
In fairness
the only lager I like is Corona. So handy in the bottle.
EDIT: what do you drink, so I know what to buy you?
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 23:09, Reply)
Erm
I'll drink most things, even some lagers when pushed. Favourite beer is Hobgoblin (which, I'll tell anyone who listens, is 13 miles away from me), but I like most dark beers - not stouts or porters though! Favourite spirit is Vanilla Absolut.
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 23:39, Reply)
Come see me. There is a Hobgoblin pub in Canterbury and it's my favouritest. And does Thai curry.
Stout is vile; can't be doing with Guinness! Not overly fond of spirits; living with flatmate has meant I now drink only blue WKD :)
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 23:42, Reply)
Blue WKD
God no. Just, no. It's all my ex-fiancee would drink alcohol wise. Plus she liked to do something with it that is traditionally reserved for champagne, and really really hurt.
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 23:52, Reply)
Ow ow ow ow ow ow.
Why would you do that?

*likes champagne* Can quit the evil blue stuff if you wish...
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 23:53, Reply)
She heard it was nice.
Didn't believe me when I said it wasn't nice. Or the time after that. Or after that. Champagne isn't much better either to me. Best to actually drink it.
(, Sun 28 Jun 2009, 0:06, Reply)
Nah, I don't get that either. Best to not complicate it...
Will save the champagne to be drunk :) and bring a bottle along with me.

Nice of her not to believe you!
(, Sun 28 Jun 2009, 0:10, Reply)
That was her all over
She'd read it in a magazine, it had to be right. I just wasn't trying hard enough to enjoy it.

Looking forward the champers!
(, Sun 28 Jun 2009, 0:12, Reply)
Pfff. Women's magazines are shit.
I at least like to run ideas past people before I try them, then when I know they like them it's all about the element of surprise...

I am a lady of much sophistication *polishes cigarette holder* so champagne will definitely be forthcoming. Hope you have glasses though!
(, Sun 28 Jun 2009, 0:15, Reply)
Where do you stand
on India Pale Ales?
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 23:42, Reply)
Not my favourites
But I can live with them. Prefer dark ales and bitters though.
(, Sat 27 Jun 2009, 23:51, Reply)

I'm on a nightbus heading west
Went. On a friend's stag do. We kept giving him challenges all night. Eventually, he got kicked out so we all left. Got pretty drunk thanks to some Belgian beer pretty early on.
