Pooling all my Amazon gift certificates, I've got £175 to spend. Rather than get an absolute ton of books and dvds, I figured I'd get one big thing.
Bearing in mind that Amazon don't do hookers, what should I get, OT?

but I put in me and BGB instead, and realised it looked a bit like the prelude to a library congress anyway.

Them I googled it. Yowza!

I'm going to get the cheaper non-heat version.

Practically virtuous in fact. Hmmm...
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 10:33, Reply)
I don't know whether to be frugal and get it, or get it and then be forced into frugality. But I WANT it now.

Ex had to drag me out of it in the shop. I loved it. Maybe you never get a sore back, but I thought it was just the ticket.
I found it was just like a massage but without someone having to be begged, stopping too soon, or farting on my back.
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 10:44, Reply)
I do like a nice massage, but I found that those shiatsu things just hurt my bones
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 10:53, Reply)
But I have bruxism and am all tightly wound, so those chairs break it all up.

Then after a couple of years she made me completely zonk out and miss all the fun, but not necessarily in a relaxing way. So i jibbed her. The slag.

we've had a long and happy relationship though

I like what you did there.
I watched spiderman 3 the other day. not bad. better than the other two at least.
how are you? have a good one?
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 11:13, Reply)
I quite liked Spider-Man 3 as well, it was better than I thought it would be! :D
I did indeed have a good one thanks, I'm a bit knackered and not looking forward to working a full week, but I'm sure I'll cope, along with everyone else in the country! Hehe
Did you have a good one?
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 11:17, Reply)
it was superb, except for breaking my cooker, but it means I get to buy a fancy new cooker, and take a circular saw to my existing kitchen, so not too bad!
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 11:19, Reply)
Still at least you get a new one!
Over the Christmas period our toilet broke and our Sky died... we are still Skyless until this weekend but our toilet is alive again - hurrah!
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 11:23, Reply)
had taken a knob off and putting it back on broke the hob...
toilet is slightly more important than Sky ;-)
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 11:27, Reply)
Hmmmm... see I'm not sure what is more important... I really miss Sky... *cries*

I'm trying to decide whether to upgrade the cable. I'd quite like the recorder and stuff, not too fussed about all the channels and HD. is it worth £100 and a fiver a month? that is the question.
What I really need to do is look at how much sky can do the same stuff for and then use it as a bargaining chip.

if you are a new customer, they will throw everything at you to get you signed up... once you're signed up though they couldn't give a crap about what you think/need. The other option is Virgin, but I wouldn't touch them with a poo-covered stick, they're crap all the time and like Royston Vasey 'You'll Never Leave'.
We've got Sky+ HD and its full of super-pretty-goodness... I love it and because DiT is DA MANNNN I don't pay towards it! :D
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 11:38, Reply)
tv is good (V+ would be better) and the internet is superbly fast. Also, I don't have to pay BT any money at all.
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 11:39, Reply)
It is indeed a bonus that you don't have to pay BT any money though, I will give you that! :D
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 11:45, Reply)
I just want them to give me a better box for no money, and not charge me more per month.
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 11:47, Reply)
Oooh what about a camera? Amazon do some swanky bits of kit on there, you could pick up something nice with your monies?
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 10:48, Reply)
I keep meaning to get a camera, but then I pretend my phone camera will suffice.
And I'd prefer a massage chair.
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 10:51, Reply)
Hehe some camera phones are pretty good though, in my experience Sony have been the best... my LG one was cack and my iPhone one is meh.
I do want to get a proper good camera though... one day I will! :D
Ooooh a massage chair eh? fancy stuff... are they a bit on the expensive side though? :D
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 10:55, Reply)
Jesus, I should go for a job on QVC.
A camera would be one more thing for me to lose...
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 10:57, Reply)
That is probably the best way to do it!
Hehe you should totally get a job on QVC, that would be great, you could sell crafty wares and talk really fast! :D

I have wine in there. Wine makes me friendly and hyper, as you've witnessed.
Shandy makes me chill.
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 11:09, Reply)
And pants. But I never remember to take a camera out with me. Also I'm getting a new phone this month - Palm Pré hopefully - so I'll wait and see what that camera is like.
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 11:10, Reply)
I hated that LG phone, I'm so glad I got an iPhone. The Palm Pre was my second choice but I knew more people that had an iPhone and had heard good things so made the jump. Fingers crossed that your new phone is better!! :D

I just want to drag and drop a bunch of mp3s and have done.
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 11:20, Reply)
it is a bit of a drama sometimes to do simple tasks on it!
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 11:24, Reply)
get tonnes of books and cds. I have a 4 page wish list so £175 would reduce that a fair bit
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 10:54, Reply)
Because that could be a cunning two purchases in one.
