What contradiction?
1. People get upset and the mods step in. If their upsetment is justified then mods take action. This is fine.
2. If people are getting very involved with the website they ought to really pay, if they don't I don't think it should affect the way the mods deal with any concerns they raise, but it would be nice if they chipped in.

the gist is, if someone is on here enough to get involved enough to be whinging, then they should contribute.

there isn't a contradiction in the point.

The original point I raised is that people who moan pay money, people who over-react to moaning don't pay money. That's all I said.

I have since gone on to say that everyone should pay some money toward the site in order to keep it running.
