My only achievement today has been scoring 2999 on 100-pin bowling on the Wii
anyone got anything better?

hello davros got a new motor?

(, Sun 7 Feb 2010, 20:55, Reply)
Yup
Nowt flash, Peugeot 107, but the cost of running the current vehicle is going to start getting prohibitive, being that it's 17 years old and costs more to tax and insure than it's worth.

Awesome
I've got an 05 mini cooper for three weeks while my mum's slinged up with a dodgy arm. I fucking win at cars at the moment. Cars are ace. I took it for a drive yesterday with a bag full of my old cassette tapes and heard a John Peel tirade from '97 or something about home taping just as I passed the sign to the next town. I felt all warm inside as I relished such freedom.

I've managed to keep the tension from last nights argument with the wife going all day today
So now I shall seek refuge in ale

Fixing two computers
Stripping one down, and incorporating the bits from the old one into a new one.

Also, not waking up with a hangover despite large amounts of alcomahol the night before, and YOUR MUM.

I woke up on a boat in Bristol
with Wellgroomedwookiee and Kaol and Mellicious and Crackhouseceilidhband and Captain Vee.

(, Sun 7 Feb 2010, 21:21, Reply)

(, Sun 7 Feb 2010, 21:23, Reply)
I'm no dude.
However, I accept your joke for what it was.
Ironically, I barely speak to these people on the internet anymore. I have to go and see them.

He's alright - very well behaved these days.
I think Mellicious is a good influence.
(, Sun 7 Feb 2010, 21:22, Reply)
Yay!
Is he ever going to frequent these hallowed boards again though?
(, Sun 7 Feb 2010, 22:02, Reply)
He might come back one day.

I liked Mel

I can hardly talk.

and I ache, which hasn't happened for a while.
(, Sun 7 Feb 2010, 20:26, Reply)
well done, there
I've not even left the house today. I've walked up and down the stairs a few times, does that count?

I played an impossibly complex game of darts
that I think was being invented as we went along by the two piss artists who introduced me to it. There was a spreadsheet-style table correlating various throw-factors and little boxes for more bits. We played for half an hour and I reckon to fully complete the game you'd have to play for 5 hours. I left to go home and finish off cooking the sunday dinner, my one real achievement, but not without getting a number to score some freshly cropped/cured "hawaiian" (tastes of pineapple a bit) for recession-beating prices. Now sat with the rest of the red wine we had for dinner and finding old stuff on youtube. Win all round. I'm not sure why I'm telling anyone this.

bought 2 cameras, wrote 2 lesson plans and made a crocheted wire and machine cord bracelet. That'll do for now

3 bags of glass recycling
2 loads of laundry
and a visit to the gym.

Plus this week I've drunk about a 1/3rd less alcohol than usual which I'm quite pleased about.
