for those who care (not many I'm sure)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=kayNV3Wpr2A

this is from my gig on Saturday night. I haven't watched that one yet, so don't know what song it is.

If there is a guy in a bear suit dancing in it, we didn't arrange it, he's a mental random.

But all-in-all and digestive system aside it was really lovely.

(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 16:50, Reply)
it's not a joke
it's serious. amount of hits on the cowbell is directly proportional to quality of song

What was that song they had where the video had Wizard of Oz characters in a club?
EDIT, found it. Run-Around
(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 16:53, Reply)
Ere! You gone all Cornish there lass?
You're right though :P If I hadn't have watched the awesome Oscar deserving movie "Kingpin" I'd never have heard of Blue Traveller.

I think there should be a new academy award "Best Movie Staring Bill Murray"

"But yoooooou! Whyyyyy you wanna give me a run-around? Is it a sure-fire way to speed things up?
When all it does is slow me down!"
(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 17:00, Reply)
Alas
Speakers are borked so I can't listen to it. I'm sure it's smashing, though, and hope it sounds a bit like Val Doonican.
(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 17:01, Reply)
That strat of yours does sound fuckin' lovely
Particularly like the slick Hendrixy tone you're getting out of it on the second song
(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 17:02, Reply)
the amp is partly responsible
it's a 15w Fender valve job, but with the strat it sounds sublime. it's fucking loud as well.
(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 17:03, Reply)
What is it about these small amps?
I bought myself a little 15W Vox job a while ago and I can't believe quite how loud it can go. It's kind of insulting given the stupid wattages I normally need to make my bass audible.
(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 17:05, Reply)
I know
I swear my little fender is as loud as my 100w marshall transistor amp
(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 17:08, Reply)
I have a tiny Fender practice amp
and have never turned it up full.
(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 17:09, Reply)
valve amps are a lot louder
I had mine on about 3 (out of 12) on Saturday. admittedly it was miked up too, but it was still fucking loud
(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 17:10, Reply)
This is just a normal little amp so you can hear your lecky in the house.
And it's very loud. I have no idea how loud because I don't want evicting.
(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 17:13, Reply)
You don't look like your enjoying yourself up there and the singer needs some honey and lemon but apart from that.
*rocks out*
(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 17:03, Reply)
I've tried too hard to stop myself pulling stupid faces
and now I just have no expression...
(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 17:03, Reply)
The only two places you're allowed to pull funny faces are on stage and in bed.

(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 17:06, Reply)
*guuuuuurns*

(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 17:07, Reply)
I get mocked for it though
on stage that is, not in bed.

I've never been one for moving around loads and stuff, nor are any of the others really.

part of the problem is that my relaxed face looks angry or annoyed, so if I'm not actively smiling then people think I'm pissed off.
(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 17:08, Reply)
That poor bear...

(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 17:08, Reply)
I'm sure the video does not do you justice
and that being there, after 8 pints, would improve it a lot.

But well done though.
(, Mon 22 Feb 2010, 17:15, Reply)
can't speak for that video
but most of them did show what we were like reasonably well. Couldn't quite hear enough bass, but still not bad

we're not particularly interesting to actually watch I guess.
