I'm looking forward to April

April fools day, then a long weekend, then a four day week, then I start a new job (same place, better job).

One week in new job, then two weeks off including 10 days in Lisbon.

And that's April done.

So, when was the last time you had a nine-work-day-month?

Tempting, but I'll pass.

You are looking forward to April fools day?

Are you c-r-azy?

Not usually,
I used to be a wag, until those silly women kidnapped the word.

A wag?
As in something used by Johnathan Ross to wipe himself off?
(, Tue 30 Mar 2010, 15:04, Reply)
Now there's a thought
Do you think he used the same one to wipe off his wife? If so, I can't say I'd mind too much.
(, Tue 30 Mar 2010, 15:07, Reply)
I don't think she's ever needed wiping off
His capacity for onanism is so incredulous that he's probably never even gone near her. I have it on good authority* that on their wedding night, he hid in the sock drawer and watched her whilst she got increasingly impatient and eventually fell asleep, then cracked one out into his 'wag' before falling asleep there.

I hate you
and all who sail in you.
(, Tue 30 Mar 2010, 15:02, Reply)
never
but I'm fairly certain I'd go crazy, even though I'm not a fan of work
I think I'm going to hit the beach in a couple of weeks though, even if it is on the time off I already have, it'll be nice

To be fair...
this spell of good luck follows a run of such unrelenting grimness that I've not had the bottle to share it with you.

So it's much more relief than smugness. I KNOW I come across as smug, because Mrs G tells me so whenever I get a question right on University Challenge.
(, Tue 30 Mar 2010, 15:05, Reply)
enjoy your time off then
and I'm a student. I'm sure that'll answer your question

March!
A full no work day month. It would have been ace if it wasn't for the disappearing job at the start of April. Should have seen that coming..

Last time I was "between positions"

That must have been a long and happy session.

(, Tue 30 Mar 2010, 15:36, Reply)
I had almost the whole of July 2004 off
I took 4 weeks holiday, 3 of which I spent in the US, and because of weekends, I only worked the 1st and 2nd of the month.

August
Didn't work any of it!

I've got two weeks coming up two.
