But I'm only little so I've never had that problem.

I found a really nice bra in Tammy once, but had to draw the line at buying my underwear from a store aimed at pre-teens.

This croissant is really, really nice.

when I was sixteen I was 30E. On browsing La Senza I asked the assistant if she could recommend size etc, and she came back carrying two padded bras

they're making the playing field uneven!!

so she came back with D size bras that had those chicken fillet things to insert. Perhaps she thought I'd said I wanted E breasts not that I had them
(, Wed 14 Apr 2010, 13:27, Reply)
It was only recently that I realised that chicken fillets for bra were not actually pieces of meat.

they used to be self-sticky ones that have no back, but then they lost their sticky and now I don't dare wear them on their own in case they splat out onto the floor

but the average boob size is increasing so maybe people feel like they need to compete

but the padding isn't just for making them look bigger, it helps with comfort and shape.
That info came from a woman in an expensive bra shop who my mrs was talking to.

and while shopping with her it has amused to me to see that the designers make all these nice bras for the smaller busted lady, and then go "hmmm, 36DD and above? They clearly want leopard print! with pink edging!"
(, Wed 14 Apr 2010, 13:13, Reply)
and it's a bit weird that they have specialist shops like Bravissimo which do bras that are basically bags with straps, compared to all the pretty lacy things for up to a D
(, Wed 14 Apr 2010, 13:15, Reply)
Bravissimo and some other places do some lovely bras up to FF and sometimes beyond.
I'm a FF and I nearly bought a beautiful black lace one but it was £70 and I couldn't justify the expense since it wouldn't be seen by anyone but me.

sells big bras- the Bravissimo shop. And they are all really ugly bras, and generally only have large backed ones in stock (i.e. 36 and above)

but they seem to specialise in the beige and flower prints spectrum like this one www.bravissimo.com/products/lingerie/sensational-sets/panache/balconette-bras/pnk7-details.aspx?ck=iB%2f127dpyplMC9m30ZDKWWrdB6mEMhvU I did get a really nice turquoise one there once though

Lots of beige bras but a couple of really sexy and pretty ones too.

I have to put up with her complaining that they are too big.
(, Wed 14 Apr 2010, 13:33, Reply)
I haven't seen one in years. I can't even remember what shop it was in.
(, Wed 14 Apr 2010, 13:19, Reply)
but no, I think it's dead now.
There was a concession in Debenhams for a while for TammyGirl after Etam died, but I think the whole lot has gone now.
(, Wed 14 Apr 2010, 13:22, Reply)
Just did a quick google, apparently Tammy can now be found in BHS, but Etam is dead.
I used to really like that place.
