Over the Bank Holiday weekend, someone broke into our office and stole all the shiney nice things (PCs, Laptop, Brand New large format printer).
Consequently, I'm about to jump on the tube and spend the day (and possibily most of the week) 'working from home'.
What weirdness has started your working week?

Tiny mailbox, huge attachments.

How are you my dear? Did your lovely man have a nice birthday?

This is the first chance I've had at internet nonsense all morning. It's ten bloody thirty! This wrongness.
He did have a super 'Official' birthday, but he'll have an even better one when I turn up in Cambridge on Friday night.
How's you?

I have a morning for filing which, although very boring, is useful since I can actually get this stuff done.
I went to Dublin over the weekend. I got very drunk.
Give him one for me.

My boyfriend plays Call of Duty and one of my friends recently confessed that his working from home consisted of watching Buffy in his underwear.

then this would be a cause for worry. I prefer Willow anyway. My working week hasn't started yet, so I'm just watching telly and playing on the pute.

Willow is way hotter. My bloke likes Cordelia though, tut.

I liked that series, she got increasingly hotter and hotter as she got more evil, until she then went all veiny in the face area in the season finale.

But because I have no one bothering me, I finish work in half the time when I'm at home.
Then video games, tv series, naps, gardening, cooking... as long as I stay at home and check my email frequently, everything is fine.

although he seems to have plenty of time for Call of Duty but no time for washing up.
(, Tue 4 May 2010, 10:37, Reply)
I put everything that fits on the dishwasher and leave the heavy duty pans for the bf. He's happy with the deal. And I do most of the laundry.

It's the worst of all the house's chores. That and vacuum a carpet. No carpet in my flat, oh no.

I have wooden floors and the boyfriend makes me sweep them. I can't sweep, I'm just shite at it. All the dust goes everywhere and it makes no difference.
(, Tue 4 May 2010, 11:16, Reply)
That's the way we used to do it in Spain, but since the magic VC came to life, no more sweeping. It just doesn't make sense. The dust goes everywhere!
I just hate carpets in general, and cleaning them is a pain.

than bloody parquet and all that crap.

Does he make you sleep near the ashes in ragged clothes too?
I reckon there'll be a kind old lady along soon enough to turn your roller-boots into Rolls Royces babe.

and everyone is taking the piss because someone told them May the 4th was unofficial Star Wars day. I don't actually care.

I'm not Star Wars super fan, but I do like very very much Star Trek. You should answer to Mr. Spock for your villainy.

Well, 20 steps from her student flat.
Also, a new sales rep has just popped in and we have bought a load of second hand - but very new - PCs and a printer, which all need to be installed.
