I was on the train last night and these kids were running up and down shouting and screaming and the parents weren't doing anything, it was driving me mad and I actually thought 'crackhouse wouldn't put up with this shit'.

My dad was away at sea most of the time
but all it took was my mum to say "I'll tell your dad" and we'd be good. We didn't figure that he couldn't do anything from where he was.

I used to get smacked, but only when I'd done something really naughty. My sister and I had a lot of discipline when we were younger, some stuff I spose people would get outraged at now (the smacking) but we've grown up perfectly fine, normal, well behaved people.
