i've just eaten about ten of my five a day in one meal.
i feel like i'm turning into some kind of hippy.

that sounds dangerous
I'm about to cook some kind of chinese beef and cashew nut type thing with noodles.

what sauce is the only question that remains...
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 20:03, Reply)

and that beef you get, sweet sticky crunchy beef thingy.
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 20:04, Reply)
the stuff that's kind of like the texture of popcorn but made of beef?
that stuff is good

time to get cooking
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 20:05, Reply)
Crispy shredded beef, you can get chicken done the same way too which doesn't get the chewy bits.

i am desperately trying to get through the two books i am reading at the moment
so that i can start the kpax trilogy, trouble is one of the books i am reading is (still) moby dick and i am a slow reader :(
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 20:03, Reply)
I'm a fast fucking reader
and Moby Dick took me an age. Don't think I've ever read anything with more digression.
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 20:06, Reply)
i've barely started.
i've already got to the gay love bit though. nice.

^ this
I found it boring, and I almost never find books boring
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 20:10, Reply)
I've got no idea of the plot
apart from Ahab being nuts and chasing the white whale.

I've not read the Magus, but I read a joke where the book-repair people took all the parts out for cleaning, forgot what order they went in and decided it didn't matter.
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 20:32, Reply)
you could abandon Moby Dick
if you're not enjoying it
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 20:08, Reply)
but i am enjoying it!

(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 20:09, Reply)
or you could start K-Pax as well
and leave Moby Dick in your bag/backpack and read it when you have time to spare in queues and things. Might take a year but it would keep you interested
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 20:12, Reply)
it is too big to carry around really.
i mostly read it while doing a poo.
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 20:22, Reply)
That's all good =D I really think you'll get a lot out of that book in so many ways, I deffo did.
The book can wait till you're ready.
