Must go and check if it's still on...
I hardly bother going to the pics unless I'm taking a kid, but Four Lions was well worth it.
And good mornin kid.

seen some good fillums though
Remake of 3.10 to Yuma was ok, it feeds my penchant for Westerns
Actually enjoyed Cloverfield, thought it would be rubbish so was happy to be proved wrong
My monthly Ghibli tweeeeeeee quota was fulfilled by The cat returns Thursday night as well

Retard thinks he's a superhero. Hilarity ensues.
Actually it's a rather moving film about coping mechanisms and the way society treats people. Rather deeper than I was expecting. Woody Harrelson was definitely born to play retards, though.

Brilliant film, sedately paced but it's so well scripted and acted it's a pleaure to let it all unfold in its own time.
Broken Embraces was very good as well, not quie as good as Volver, but I did enjoy the little postmodern film-within-a-film nod to WOmen on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.

Absolutely LOVED it. A fantastic, fantastic film -- told only as Chris Morris could.

Best film I've seen all year, and best comedy in a long while

More Pixar brilliance, very emotional in places.

the sneaky animation bastards
it's a kid's film, you're not supposed to make it all meaningful and shit

it's good enough for a John Lewis ad.
(If you ment the little life story of the childless couple, I cried a little too. It was unashamedly poignant.)(Not the John Lewis ad.)

I've had it on dvd for about 3 years but never got round to watching it. Sadly there hasn't been much I'd consider 'fantastic' out at the cinema recently, although I agree Kick Ass was pretty good.

reasonably amusing. My mrs was happy because it had the guy from the Mentalist in it. Winona Ryder was looking quite tasty. Overall, worth a watch if you have nothing better to do.
