They both have grey hair, and look their age (and hopefully dont read b3ta). When they questioned it, the shopkeeper said they weren't allowed to discriminate based on age and so had to ID everyone 0.o

I knew I was getting old when I turned 30 and they stopped IDing me whenever I went to bars in the States. Leaving my passport in the hotel when going out for a drink was an odd experience.

about mid/late thirties, but certainly not young enough to be IDd. Questioned the checkout girl, and she said he was 'within the range'

unfortunately, I have one of those faces where if I don't wear makeup, I look about 2 years younger then I actually am.
