I woke up early this morning
But for some reason my duvet was exceedingly heavy, and due to this unforeseen circumstance I ended up getting to work 15 minutes late.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:32, 3 replies, latest was 16 years ago)
So what you're saying is that you're too weak to lift a duvet?
Fucking goths. You need some Vitamin D mate

What I mean is
Yo momma was on top of it.

ZING

Dang
Also, reasons to be glad you're not coming to InFest this year Labs - you know how Bradford has one of the UK's biggest Muslim communities? The English Defence League are planning a demonstration there on August 28th. Fucking brilliant.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:54, Reply)
Yep, my mate (girl who used to run InFest) told me
What massive cuntbags.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:55, Reply)
Part of me wants to go along and heckle
The rest of me likes my broken glass-free existence
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:58, Reply)
Ooo!
*thinks twice about coming*

*thinks about coming twice*

The hospital gave me some vitamin D stuff yesterday.
The pills are tiny, but there 20,000 units of whatever it is (it's in my bag, donno what it's called) in my pill. Yes, that's right, 20k units.

When I saw the prescription and before the pills, I had mental images of a pill the size of my head.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:40, Reply)
If the unit is micrograms (µg)
then that's next to bugger all.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:41, Reply)
I don't have a clue, I know my second highest quantity pill is 600 something-or-other per pill, and that one is quite big.
I just times'd that 600 by 35 or soo.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:43, Reply)
Depends how active the drug is, of course
A few micrograms of LSD will have you believing you can fly, but it takes a gram or so of paracetamol to ease a headache.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:49, Reply)
Yeah', makes sense that.

(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:51, Reply)
My favoured does of LSD is about 400 micrograms.
WRITE THIS DOWN THIS IS INTERESTING.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:52, Reply)
The thing I don't like about the idea of LSD is 20 years down the line you could walk into a room and suddenly start tasting colours.

(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:57, Reply)
It's an urban myth.
Unless you've driven yourself mad on it - but you'd know about that at the time, not decades later.

I had a good 3 hits a week for about 2 years, and that was over 20 years ago - and I'm fineNO NOOOOOOOGET AWAY FROM MEEEE
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 10:00, Reply)
I donno, I've heard of a few people who say that happens to them.
I know, like everything else, it effects different people differently, but my head isn't 100% stable at the best of times, I can't imagine phsycadellics being a good idea at all.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 10:04, Reply)
I'm of the opinion that strong mind-alterants (yeah, that's a word)
should be avoided if you are not in a good frame of mind.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 10:18, Reply)
I think that
people who get messed up on drugs were already messed up.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 10:48, Reply)
do you mean the ones who go actually crazy?
I'm inclined to agree
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 10:58, Reply)
yeah I suppose, although I've never seen that
I meant the people who get all depressed and psychotic afterwards, they're depressed and psychotic anyway, the come down just exacerbates it.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 11:00, Reply)
They can be hugely beneficial
or send you round the bend. If you aren't in a good place mentally you can really lose it.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 10:30, Reply)
I hate that feeling
It's even heavier in winter, isn't it?
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:36, Reply)
That it is!
Normally I'm ok, but this morning I just did not want to get out of bed. I was tempted to throw a sicky, but I'm a good boy.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:40, Reply)
Yep, I've done it once
and I felt so bad and scared I didn't do anything all day, in fear I'd be caught.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:47, Reply)
I did that!
my friends had stayed over at the flat and I refused to drive them home until after 5pm just in case someone from work saw me.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:52, Reply)
Yes
or get in facebook, in case someone from work reads me. It ends up being a boring day of watching tv only.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:58, Reply)
But you could post a Facebook status update
saying how ill you were, and that you were stuck at home, barely able to even get to the computer.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 10:00, Reply)
Worst opening of a blues lyric, ever.

(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:42, Reply)
Can't remember who said it
But if you take a Blues song and read it backwards, it becomes a heart-warming tale of how a man gets his woman, job and house back, plus his dog comes back to life.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:44, Reply)
Good description

(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 9:48, Reply)
that tickled me quite a lot
