I got chatted up by a 49-year-old on Friday.
I found her really rather attractive: clearly I also am old. I was also round these chaps' flat last night, and one of them called me a 'silver fox'.

Yep,
She told me she had a daughter of 18, who was embarrassed about her and her 'cougar mates'.

The thing is, she was really well dressed and rather nice looking, and the only intelligent person I spoke to all night. She was also pissed out of her mind, in a Dalston bar, on her own on a Friday night...

I dated a lovely chap a couple of years back who was ten years younger than me, very fit, good looking, entertaining and so on...sadly thick as two short planks. The jokes and flirting can't last forever, a good conversation can.

You begin to notice the older men who look good - surprisingly there aren't that many who both look good and have intelligence. The younger ones you end up feeling rather maternal towards. Youth also becomes less attractive at the lower end because it's all soft and peachy - I prefer men who have seen a bit of life. Experience is where it's at.
Mind you, if you'd asked me that when I was in my teens or early 20s I'd have said old men were creepy and young fresh teens were where it's at.
