Can't be arsed waiting any longer
InFest, as ever, was fantastic. I had my socks thoroughly blown off by Memmaker and [x]-rx, as well as seeing appropriately epic sets by Rotersand and Project Pitchfork. I witnessed some truly ridiculous outfits and some quite astonishing hair, was impressed by certain people's ability to dance at all in absurd platform boots and was stunned by most people's abject lack of rhythm. I saw enough police to occupy Paris (bad example) but thankfully missed the tear-gas they had to distribute amongst the intelligentsia of the EDL. I was at various points offered cocaine, ketamine, MDMA, base, weed, speed, ecstasy and most disturbing of all, JD & Relentless, and I stand by my decisions as regards which I took and which I refused. I slept about 6 hours total between Friday morning and yesterday, and today I feel ludicrously unmotivated as I sit at my desk, watching the clock avidly.

I also lost to a girl at table football, was asked to teach an Australian lady how to Tango and was challenged to an arm-wrestle by a lesbian.

How was everyone else's weekend?

I've only done K twice.
Both times I took waaay too much and was paralysed: not my idea of a good time so never again. Speed-taking when I was a lad was the drugs equivalent of a Kappa tracksuit and faux-Burberry hat so I never got involved there either.

I've enough toxic habits as it is, so very pleased to have also removed MDMA and its derivatives from my palette these days.

actually no, my favourite colour was a result of Perfect Ten Black hair dye, faded nicely into a dark blackbrown. This current colour is a bit too light for my liking.

My god I'm looking at how short my hair was around a year ago.
I really don't think it was a good idea. I miss my curls though, they seem to have been blasted out by all the chemicals.

I have a semi-permanent at the moment, but when I did it myself it was permanent dye. I imagine my base colour of hair at the moment is still orange. I find this a little amusing :D

Leeds was pretty good. Arcade Fire and Los Camps! were as usual excellent. I cried in the former and Gareth was suitably furious in the latter. Also saw Darwin Dees who did choreographed dance routines between songs and were a laugh.

I spent a lot of the night with some really good friends. One such friend had brought along an illegitimate sister he'd only just found out about (she's 18 to his 20), and we all agreed she was exactly like him, but BETTER, despite growing up hundreds of miles apart.
And someone fell asleep in my lap :)
