I'm fed up
and bored of life again. I have Monday blues and guilt from not doing enough productive things at the weekend.

Although I shouldn't be whinging, I start a new pole class tomorrow night with Applebite, I'm going to Alton Towers at the weekend and I'm off to Tenerife next Tuesday.

But it's still Monday so meh.

How much are poles?
My mate has her status as "whoop I can now afford a pole" I didn't think it would be something you had to save up for it's just a metal tube.

she may mean a plumber?

They're around £150
plus delivery. You can't get really cheap versions, although I do know a stripper who just went to a builders yard and asked for some scaffolding.

I don't really care but didn't being helpful cheer you up a little?

(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 14:36, Reply)
You're right, it did a little. I like it when you're nice to me, it's less exhausting.
But then you took it away again so now I'm sad.

Cheer up grumpy.

I'm ok
I'm not at Monty levels of grumpiness, just Monday blues.

Just knowing you care is getting me through the day.

Who are you and what have you done with Chompy?

(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 14:53, Reply)
I'm just trying to encourage her to open up a bit
so I can then make her cry by pointing out that she's acting like a needy spastic.
(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 14:57, Reply)
I hate you
you're shit and dull.
(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 15:20, Reply)
Really?
but it's just a shiny pole.... how can they justify £150?
(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 14:36, Reply)
Because in the right club it'll pay for itself several times over in the first night?

(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 14:39, Reply)
It needs an adjustable base attaching to it, it has to be perfectly smooth
and it has to have a top on it that will spread the pressue enough that it doesn't poke a hole through your ceiling.

Plus the X-poles, which are £150, are adjustable and transportable.
(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 14:40, Reply)
yeah. but none of that justifies much more than about fifty quid, really.

(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 14:42, Reply)
It does when your semi naked girlfriend is gyrating around it.

(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 14:44, Reply)
fair point.
although i'd still rather spend the justified fifty on the pole and the other hundred on, ooh, say, her attire.
(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 14:47, Reply)
a really nice burkha

(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 14:51, Reply)
well no
but supply and demand and all that, if people didn't pay that they wouldn't charge it.

I can't have a pole in my house because of my stupid suspended ceiling, so I looked into getting a free standing pole. They're £500.
(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 14:53, Reply)
You can get them around my way for about £4/hour, and if they don't like it, you can report them and get them deported.

THIS WAS FUNNY

(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 14:54, Reply)
