"Runaway hay bale kills ELO cellist "
How's that for a headline?

I've spent the day trying to come up with an ELO lyric bon mot
but I have failed miserably as I only know 2 ELO songs

'Mr Hay Bale'

(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:24, Reply)
That was the only one I could come up with

(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:25, Reply)
Evil Woman.

(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:27, Reply)
Was that an ELO reference or just a slight on my good character?

(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:29, Reply)
You have a good character?

(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:31, Reply)
Very very sadface here

(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:32, Reply)
Don't be sadface.
Would a 'helicopter' cheer you up?
(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:38, Reply)
I'm watching GoldenEye for the first time
It's very very very funny. Keep it in your pants

(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:39, Reply)
Yes
they were pathetic
(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:41, Reply)
a bit of a random way to snuff it
still, could be worse
(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:22, Reply)
I'm pretty sure I've already seen this posted on here
And it would make for a good story too, apart from the fact that the happenings actually seemed to be deathly boring.
(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:22, Reply)
Rather like ELO.

Hello Monty
I take it this is a reference to you not liking ELO much?

We have to talk.
(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:32, Reply)
That's right.
I like The Move but ELO seem rather insipid to me.
(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:33, Reply)

What I don't get right, Another Level's target audiance was teenagers, but they sang songs like 'Freak me' with lyrics such as
"I wanna lick you up and down, 'till you say stop".

I always found that a bit sick really, there were loads of young teens and children singing that when I was at school.
(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:26, Reply)
I remember singing along to The Outhere Brothers' song Don't Stop Moving (Wiggle)
when I was about 10. It was only a couple of years ago that I heard the original, unedited version. IT'S SICK AND OUTRAGEOUS.
(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:30, Reply)
*Looks it up*
I remember the song, but I don't remember it being rude.
(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:34, Reply)

(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 16:52, Reply)
There are a few american artists, like "Pitbull" and "FloRider" who I really really hate.
They make really shit songs, I hate them, they're all about money or women or their 'roots' (while going on about how rich they are), with no soul or heart in them, and they collaborate with other shit arists at the tail-end of the careers, using their fame to propel them forward. It's like Disney or McDonalds when it comes to music.
(, Mon 6 Sep 2010, 17:16, Reply)
I really hate them too, Gonz. They're fucking pointless.
