Weekend!
Here's something for DG, nicked from a friend's FB status:
Listening to the audiobook of Doctor Who and the Crusaders. According to this, the Doctor's grand-daughter, Susan, stayed behind in post-apocalyptic London in the 21st century to build a new life with "David Cameron"...

Today's question: something, something, something, something, question mark.

In answer to your deeply probing question.....
This weekend I shall be mostly buying a new acoustic/electric guitar and playing until my fingers bleed*

*Unlikely as you could probably strike matches on my left-hand fingertips.

You are Bryan Adams
AICMFP.

Sorry, but there you are.

Well...
I can see the reasons for your confusion, we are so much alike! He's internationally famous, had loads of hit records, he's short, slim and blonde and I'm, errrrrrm, not to put too fine a point on it - none of those things!

But close!

Oooooh what are you buying?
Or have you not decided yet?

Sorry for the delay
I'm now the proud owner of an Ozark 3755 Deluxe. 6 string acoustic electric with rosewood back and sides, spruce top, herringbone binding and an inlaid headstock.

It sounds as sweet as a very sweet thing.

I sent an invoice to a client, the mini cab people (ain't saying what company exactly). I wanted £200 for work done to date and £100 for hosting fees for the year that elapsed in april.
I sent it to the guy I'm dealing with, who sent it to the boss, who went ballistic, calling me this that and the other. That the guy I'm dealing with has tried to calm him down and all that, and explain things and all that. Hopefully he'll change his mind.

They got 'till the end of next week until I take the site down, revert it back to what they've paid for and delivered in a zip file to do what they want with... and then charge for every add-on I've done at any price I want, and if they want to buy the domain that's printed on about 250k cards off it's legal owner, then I think I might come up with a figure along the lines of £2500.

This is for 18 months worth of work.
I swear, the boss there is so fucking tight that it's rediculous. I once worked christmas eve and new years eve there, I got time and a half which bought it above min wage, all the fairs were double and all the rents for the drivers was double.

We can't even get drinkable tap water when working there.

Also, if we gotta call up a customer, we have to use our personal phones.
Sad times.

They can get to fuck really.

Can you put loads of kiddie porn on the boss's computer?
I mean, you've got the computer skills, and the kiddie porn, so why not?

I'm off to the footy
to watch us get brought back down to earth by Bolton.

How we didn't win today is beyond me.
If we draw another game I'm going to do a Derek Bird.

I've just got back,
We are now firmly bottom of the table and suffered yet another 3-0 defeat.

We've now conceded 13 goals at home in just 5 games.

Relegation is a cert.
