I don't like Glasgow
I recommend going to Edinburgh. But if you have to go to Glasgow, there's a massive Wetherspoons that used to be a bank, and it's really prety. I don't remember where it was, but it was close to George sq or something like that.

The Wetherspoons is indeed on the corner of George Square
And is fairly awful.

If you head across to the Merchant City there are a few good eateries and bars, or you can head to Waxy O'Connors which is right in the centre. It has about 7 different levels, and 5 or 6 bars in it.
