but the buggers don't have a proper website for some reason.
i bought another new pair the other day. this takes my total of knee-high boots to 8. and 4 pairs of ankle boots. is this excessive??
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 13:33, Reply)
I own three pairs of ankle boots, but since my lovely lovely boots have lost a heel, only three pairs of knee boots, one of which are now pretty decreipt

I'm far too broke to buy anything of the sort. But I can look and dream of a lottery win

a 41 is a UK size 8, right? so a 41.5 would be 2.5 sizes too big for me, no way is that do-able. damnit!

wait til you're a famous lawyer/doctor, then i'll be begging for pics of the inside of your wardrobe.

Give to a few years and you'll be earning plenty and able to buy all the shoes you want, whilst Swipe tries to juggle a career, mortgage and loads of kids.
You'll be in the driving seat then.

i am way too spoiled for that.
but kids? er, who the hell would i con into impregnating me?!
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 14:20, Reply)

it is so much easier if you are a size 5 or below or an 8 and above. 6 or 7, there is nothing!

They were fantastic.
The leather soles lasted ages, which came as as surprise.

There are only so many times you can have a pair of shoes repaired before you've got to admit they're past their best.
I got them at the same time I bought my first tailored suit.
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 14:30, Reply)
And having a suit made by a tailor.
Granted, we're not talking Saville Row, but made-to-measure suits can be affordable.
I've lost over 3 stone since my last tailored suit, and until my weight settles down, I'm limited to HOF off the peg suits, I'm not spending a fortune on things that might not fit in a couple of weeks.
