So I may attempt this hot squash of which you speak.

I quite like it
when my dad came to visit we went to Noodle Nation, and since he was driving he wasn't drinking. After careful thought he ordered orange squash and the waitress looked at him as though he was a mental

Now now you two, they both have a place in moden society.
Walking around a market or somewhere like camden or covent garden? Lemon and sugar.
Sitting down to eat outside by camden lock on a bench? Banana, Nutella and Hazelnut.
Having breakfast? american style with emintile and ham.
Having brunch with studenty types? Big and fluffy with honey.
Having desert at an american themed place? Deffo big'n'fluffy with golen syrup
Haing dsert in a posh place stuck in a time-warp? Flambe with carmalised banana or pineapple.
In china town with your team at work? Aromantic Duck style.

See, all pancakes have a place.
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 13:51, Reply)
Pancake Day ? Get that lemon-in-a-little-lemon-shaped-bottle and sugar.
But what trumps all these, by such a far far far long shot, is a jewish bubalar, god, imagine little balls of deep fried pancake made using motza meal. To hot to touch at first, then to hot to eat without blowing with your mouth, and then just right, and then cold.

Eaither covered in lemon and sugar, or a sprinkling of salt.

In fact, I think I might make some for the b4sh0rz.

Put one in the middle of the bubbla so it goes all nice and melty with crunchy bit =D
You need...
- Motza Meal
- two eggs
- Water
- Salt
- Covering; sugar'n'lemon

Make a batter with the egg, motza and water, spoon them into hot oil 'til they're golden brown (plonk in the minstral when you spoon it in). Drain on kitchen paper, put covering on and enjoy =)

I had a pair of tailored hand-made shoes
They were fantastic.

The leather soles lasted ages, which came as as surprise.
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 14:24, Reply)
oh
now that sounds very very acceptable!
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 14:28, Reply)
I don't have them anymore
There are only so many times you can have a pair of shoes repaired before you've got to admit they're past their best.

I got them at the same time I bought my first tailored suit.
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 14:30, Reply)
tailored suit?
this also sounds very very very acceptable.
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 14:33, Reply)
There is very little difference in price from buying an 'off-the-peg' suit that is branded (but made in a sweatshop)
And having a suit made by a tailor.

Granted, we're not talking Saville Row, but made-to-measure suits can be affordable.

I've lost over 3 stone since my last tailored suit, and until my weight settles down, I'm limited to HOF off the peg suits, I'm not spending a fortune on things that might not fit in a couple of weeks.

I struggle with Sunn O))) I have to admite. Khanate, Stephen O'Malley's other band were great. I used to use them and Oxbow to clear my office of annoying people if I wanted some peace and quiet

(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 14:07, Reply)
It's an extended remix, he made it for James Lavelle to play in his DJ sets.
The original is just the organ loop with a breakbeat. It is very, very good and if you look up the track he sampled it from, he's made very very clever use of the sample and what he did with it.
(, Sun 17 Oct 2010, 14:10, Reply)
Ooh, and this is essentially a heavy metal track that Shadow made when he was in UNKLE
www.youtube.com/watch?v=My0GFFgUHvw

Entirely composed of loops and samples and with a pre-fame Badly Drawn Boy on vocals.
