I suggest you sack your friends and get BGB as bridesmaid.
Best friends do not give ultimatums.
Stop being a doormat and tell her SHE ruined YOUR night and if anyone should be getting the ultimatum it should be her.
She's damned lucky you aren't a real B3tan (you are far too nice) as she would have been cunted in the fuck by now.

I am a bridesmaid : )
I couldn't make it to the hen do though.

I'm so tempted to do that
Our conversation yesterday went like this:

She says sorry for not having prepared anything but it was because: 1. She's like that and nobody told her she had to do it (then I remind her that I know her and I did tell her, and other friends did too), but still, not her fault, she's like that.
2. She wouldn't want to prepare anything for me because I'm bossy and get upset when people don't do exactly as I want, and she didn't want to argue with me.

So she said, "I'm sorry about that, now you can choose to forget everything or we're done"

I'm going to the meeting. I need an evening of kick boxing or something like that.

That is not a nice way for a friend to behave.
I would seriously think about your friendship with her but wait till after the wedding.

How about 'I will forgive you, I'm just not ready to yet.
If that's not good enough, fuck right off.'
(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 9:06, Reply)
How about:
I would beg for forgivness, but you are just not worth it.
(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 9:08, Reply)
How about you punch her in the tits and when she says 'What was that for?'
say 'I can't help it, I'm like that.'
(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 9:12, Reply)
Haha!
Winner!
(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 9:12, Reply)
this
this to the max.
(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 9:15, Reply)
that's not a valid excuse or reason
I hate people who think they can get away with being shitty friends by just saying "Oh you know what I'm like"
(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 9:14, Reply)
I bet she's blonde, or the spanish equivalent.

(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 9:16, Reply)
Yeah I'm picturing a blonde as well

(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 9:21, Reply)
Nah! she's brunette.
Seems ok really but probably just makes a crap friend.
(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 9:22, Reply)
I have a crappy friend like that
she's just moved to a different city and has told about 3 people.
(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 9:25, Reply)
"I'm lazy and don't care about other people"
is not a defence against a charge of being lazy and not caring about other people.

Or so I'm often told.
(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 9:16, Reply)
I'm totally on her side.

(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 9:22, Reply)
Because you're like that.

(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 9:26, Reply)
Yep, I'm just like that; agree or it's over.

(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 9:28, Reply)

(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 9:40, Reply)
Only one way to go forwards as far as I can see it.
You have a post-wedding hen do, with coke and hookers and blackjack. If you fancy, I can set this up, but I can't promise you I won't double-dip by being the organizer _and_ the hooker _and_ the dealer (both blackjack and coke).
(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 9:28, Reply)
That is fucking dreadful
I guess the answer is 'we're done', then. Friends just don't behave like that. Promote BGB and tell your rubbish friend to fuck off and you don't want her at your wedding.
