man
I've not had anything roast for ages (fnar fnar). This week my aim is to make something with gravy on it

Bangers and mash with onion gravy is always a winner
and minimal effort.

Otherwise, make a stew and serve it in a GIANT Yorkshire pudding!

how do I turn gravy into onion gravy, just put onions in it?
making stew is probably more than I can deal with
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 18:45, Reply)
Yeah. Add onion for onion gravy.

(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 18:51, Reply)
don't I have to do something to the onion?
I'm not sure that bisto + raw onion = deliciousness
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 18:56, Reply)
It is. But then I do like me onions.
But you could soften the onion first in a pan if you like.

I have an epic recipe for onion gravy
but it does take about 40 minutes and requires plenty of attention.
