pulling the innards out of pumpkins is one of the worst things I have had to do
it feels like pulling soggy hair out of the drain.

use a turnip instead
not a turnip to empty a pumpkin out, you understand. Just, you know, replace the pumpkin with a turnip. It's what us northerners used to do
