OK, if you have tunes on, what are you listening to right now?

sounds like a new thread to me
with an "if you aren't, fire some up on shuffle and tell us what you get".
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:10, Reply)
Cee Lo Green - Fuck you
It was Paloma Faith before that.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:12, Reply)
That Paloma Faith song with "aaa - aaa - aaa - aaa - aaa - aaa - aaa - aaa" in the chorus.
Did she sing it exactly like that, or did she only sing "aaa" once and have it looped? This has been bugging me for ages.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:21, Reply)
I'm not sure which one you mean...?

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:25, Reply)
This one, at about 0:40.

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:26, Reply)
A bit of headphone action confirms they are separate "aaas" and not one "aaa" she's had looped.

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:32, Reply)
Pretty sure she's singing that, not looped.

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:32, Reply)
I'm glad we see eye-to-eye on this matter.

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:34, Reply)
Paloma Faith is well cute.

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:28, Reply)
Yup very

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:31, Reply)
She's very odd looking
I can never decide if she's fit or not. Same with Florence from Florence + The Machine
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:31, Reply)
She's fit.
Smashing eyes.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:32, Reply)
Watching this one now:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=29zumqpqFLM&feature=channel she's pretty cute in black and white. Perhaps it's her hair?
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:35, Reply)
Looking good with the hair down.
Good 'n wavy.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:37, Reply)
Yeah.
I wish I could pull off that kind of colour. And also that my hair wasn't lolmental...
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:39, Reply)
Your hair suits you.
*least pandering compliment I could think of*
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:43, Reply)
It's on her head which helps.

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:45, Reply)
Definitely.

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:46, Reply)
I dunno
I think being a curly-bearded-lady would be hilarious.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:48, Reply)
Hehe, cheers
To be honest, if I woke up tomorrow and it was straight, I'd probably moan like hell.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:46, Reply)
My hair goes wavy and ringlets if it's much longer than it is now.
Actually my beard does that too.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:49, Reply)
From now on you shall be called Shirley.

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:51, Reply)
That's gone right over my head.

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:52, Reply)
Shirley Temple.

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:02, Reply)
Hee!
how very piratical. I can't imagine you with ringlet-y hair..
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:57, Reply)
I had hair to my shoulders from 17-21 years old.
If I didn't wear it up it exploded into a fluffy wavy afro, and the pony-tail used to hang in a couple of thick ringlets. I was a massively sexy teenager.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:00, Reply)
you should be glad to have curly hair
mine won't curl at all
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:00, Reply)
Mine used to be straight
then I went really short, and it grew back curly.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:07, Reply)
That's quite strange
(in a good way) how old were you?
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:39, Reply)
On the subject of possibly fit or not fit
the girl off Glee (Rachel?) the main one whatever her name is has a really divisive face
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:58, Reply)
The brunette?
I like the look of her, it also helps that her character is nice too.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:01, Reply)
her character is horrible!
And her face is out of proportion
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:02, Reply)
It's only ever on in the background while kiddo watches it so I'm not entirely sure who you mean.

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:09, Reply)
looked it up
apparantly she's called Rachel Berry
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:39, Reply)
Her eyebrows are a bit off-putting though.

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:34, Reply)
Actually, that's probably it.
they don't match her hair even slightly, and they're too heavy for her face.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:37, Reply)
She doesn't make any concession to conventional standards of eyebrow
I bet she doesn't shave her legs either.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:41, Reply)
Nah, I bet she does
hairy legs would not 'go' with most of the stuff she wears.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:44, Reply)
watching more I suspect you're right
Her eyebrows are very 'natural' though.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:46, Reply)
Better than this:

CHRIST MY EYES
yes, they are.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:50, Reply)
I hate those perfectly-defined plucked eyebrows.
They just look fake. Actually I suspect those are tattoos. And what's with that fucking shiny lipstick?! Edit: I mean, in general.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:51, Reply)
I really don't know
I just don't get women who look like that, why they would want to and how the hell they think it looks good.
Also anyone who uses anything - anything - orange on their face.

^this
though if it covered my freckles I'd think of it
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:56, Reply)
No!
freckles are nice, and orange cake-up never is.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:01, Reply)
Yes, freckles are smart.

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:10, Reply)
There's a few presenters and celebs on TV that wear that shiny lipstick and it makes me physically recoil.
WHO HAS SHINY LIPS?
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 21:57, Reply)
They do?
I don't get it either. I used to wear lip gloss but not so much that it does that swimmy-looking thing.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:00, Reply)
Physically repulsed.

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:07, Reply)
They're not even particularly shiny...
I have seen far worse.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:13, Reply)
So have I, and I cannot unsee.

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:15, Reply)
What is it about shiny lips that gives you the ick?

(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:19, Reply)
I dunno, I love kissing lips but I reckon it'd be all sticky and weird.
Maybe it's inherent, maybe there's some disease with a shiny-lip symptom that my ancestors experienced.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:27, Reply)
That depends what's in the gloss.
If it's high in silicones, it'll feel smoother than a cheap-arse one that's just white oil and polyisobutene.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:30, Reply)
Thanks for the tip.
I'll be sure to ask to check the ingredients on her gloss next time I'm lining up for a snog.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 22:36, Reply)
No problem.
