I'm disgusted with myself
I've woken up. On the sofa. Surrounded by empty bottles of Gem.

The room smells of stale beer and i've got a headache.

When were you last deeply ashamed?
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:35, 86 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
Hahahaha!
I've been to the gym and feel awesome.

The last time I was ashamed is when I went all emo on here.

Oi Oi Jeff. What is Gem?

Here ya go.

Counting the empties, I somehow got through the best part of 11 of them.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:48, Reply)
Nice. 4.1% is about the right strength for a session beer.

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:49, Reply)
What are you doing today?
Anything fun planned?
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:50, Reply)
Off to the farmers market in a bit to buy some form of delicious meat - possibly rabbit after I got a text about rabbit yesterday.
Other than that a bit of work, reading the papers, couple of pints and a couple of (to be determined) films.

What about you?
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:52, Reply)
I'm going to do very very little today

Brilliant. I wanted to see them live but I think one of them's dead?

Google tells me
That Chas and Dave are doing a 'farewell tour'

Gertcha!

I thought one of them snuffed it.

That was a recurring joke on Never Mind The Buzzcocks

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:39, Reply)
Got dumped a couple of years ago and went all 'hell hath no fury'.
Nothing interesting.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:48, Reply)
I finally got around to watching 'Men Who Stare at Goats' last night
and saw JB ripping his shirt off.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:52, Reply)
OMG! did you froth?

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:53, Reply)
JB
= Johnny Ball.

Think of a number.

Wookiee said, 'And this is the point that Blousey would be sliding off her seat.'
Then a herd of goats was on screen, and he said, 'And this is the point that Clenders slides off her seat.'
I felt I ought to point out that it's a different kind of love.
I am not Al.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:00, Reply)
Is it any good? Got it on dvd but haven't watched it.

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:54, Reply)
Yes, I enjoyed it.
George Clooney holding a goat is a very pleasant sight.
I do love a nice goat.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:56, Reply)
Morning Blousie.
How was the gym?
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:45, Reply)
Not my best this morning but I did Ok.
Ready for anything now.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:47, Reply)
Anything?
That is quite a claim.

What do you think you'll do?
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:49, Reply)
I'm going to the cinema and then maybe a walk with my step-dad and dogs.
It's a technicolour day.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:51, Reply)
What are you going to see at the pictures?
And will you be buying sweet or salted popcorn?
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:53, Reply)
Despicable me with my nephew.
Salted.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:56, Reply)
Is that a film of your life?
(What drink will you get?)
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:57, Reply)
I am awesome and you know it.
Coffee.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:58, Reply)
If you go to the flicks
You need to buy a bucket of fizzy-pop.

It's the law.

(Why are you so awesome today?)
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:02, Reply)
could be something to do with not boozing it up last night like us reprobates

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:05, Reply)
I'm always awesome.
Tourettes said so and I believe her.

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:39, Reply)
And your point is?

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 11:07, Reply)
Your grip on reality is somewhat tainted.

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 11:28, Reply)
You'll just have to find out for yourself.

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 11:29, Reply)
It's a Blousie tease!

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 11:32, Reply)
You've done your share of that : )
I'm off to the cinema.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 11:33, Reply)
hahaha
Enjoy your popcorn.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 11:37, Reply)
That looks rather good actually
I saw the Social Network on Monday. As interesting as a film about a website could be actually.

Leeds Film Fest starts this week as well - good times!
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:58, Reply)
This, as a stand-alone post, is rather bertesque.

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:03, Reply)
Hahahaha!
It has an off the cuff Fritzl-esque quality to it.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:05, Reply)
Haha!

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:12, Reply)
I have no shame.
Perhaps if you'd got woken up by the filth like I did at 3am you've had made it to bed. 3 meat wagons driving up & down a residential road with their sirens going is bang out of order at that tiime. I am walking to Queens Park station later to make a complaint (fat lot of good it will do I expect).
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:46, Reply)
I'm guessing they were making the noises because they needed to.
But go and have a whinge at them anyway.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:49, Reply)
They kept the sirens going once they had parked up directly opposite our flat & were arresting someone. Seems unnecessary to me.

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:50, Reply)
That seems a little unfair.

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:53, Reply)
Sometimes jumping out of a car and arresting someone is more important than flicking a little switch.

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:05, Reply)
And it's dead cool.

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:23, Reply)
They didn't need to keep the sirens on for 10 minutes once they had parked up though. On all 3 vehicles.

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 12:26, Reply)
Been to the police station yet to stick it to the man?

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 13:26, Reply)
Fuck the police.

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 13:32, Reply)
You should feel more ashamed
about choosing to lie in your own filth, posting about it on here.
Get up and go to the pub for lunch.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:49, Reply)
Clendrix !!!!!!!!!!!
*smooches*
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:51, Reply)
Hello darling.
I am getting up now so I can help Badger move in with Gonz.
It's a weird day.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:57, Reply)
How exciting!
Give Gonz a birthday hug from me please.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:58, Reply)

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:12, Reply)
I have been known to be an advocate of the early-morning leveller.
As it stands, I'm going to go out for a walk.

Although a pub lunch does sound nice.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:52, Reply)
Walk...
pick up paper, go to pub.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:57, Reply)
I'm not litter picking this morning!
Hell no.

But you're right. A newspaper, a pint and a roast dinner does sound just the ticket.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:03, Reply)
Could be worse
Could be someone else's filth :)

I equate shame with monocles.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:52, Reply)
You shouldn't...you looked very refined.

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 9:58, Reply)
Snoring and drooling?
I looked so upper class :)
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:00, Reply)
Innit, though.

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:01, Reply)

Do the yoof even say that any more? Perhaps I'm not hip these days.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:02, Reply)
I hear it a lot on the bus:
My oyster card aint working, innit.
I aint payin innit.
It aint my fault, innit.

Oh..you meant 'word'.
No, you old fart.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:05, Reply)
Ah, I meant 'word'.
I hear 'innit' in Leeds as well on occasion. Annoys me as it makes everything sound like a question.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:07, Reply)
Morning all
I managed to not finish the second bottle of red last night and feel alarmingly chipper.

I notice that b3ta hasn't put its clock back this morning, tsk tsk.

Morning Chainy.

(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:05, Reply)
morning Jeff
I suspect I won't be making it to the gym today.

I could do a pub lunch, but there's the local derby on - Villa v Birmingham. So they'll mostly be rammed, I suspect.
(, Sun 31 Oct 2010, 10:11, Reply)
Go to a pub that doesn't show the football.
Job done.
