...QOTW is a shadow of it's former self, I think part of this is because posters have become very disillusioned. From my own point of view it's become full of bad karma lately and the sense of fun has long gone. I know that a few old hands on QOTW agree with this which is why they don't post anymore.

The best way back would be to remove the reply function on QOTW posts. The not so funny entries simply died on their arse anyway and didn't need reams of ascii facepalms and ym responses to banish them from the Best Of page.
