I've never seen any of the Godfather films, or the Rambo films

First Blood is actually very good.

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:31, Reply)
I'm told the Godfather films are too
just not got round to watching them.
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:32, Reply)
They aren't as good as people make out.

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:35, Reply)
that doesn't surprise me
I'm easily pleased when it comes to films though.

My favourite films are Starship Troopers, The Crow and most of the Alien films
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:36, Reply)
I've never seen The Crow

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:38, Reply)
The Crow is cool
Good soundtrack too
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:39, Reply)
Very good soundtrack
Not seen any of the sequels though, I hear they're shit.
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:39, Reply)
they are shit
but it is a fucking good soundtrack
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:44, Reply)
Like Singles
Terrible film, great soundtrack!
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:45, Reply)
that really is a great soundtrack
if I'm thinking of the right one

has it got State of Love and Trust by Pearl Jam on it?

also, I've just remembered about Pump Up The Volume. Classic.
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:48, Reply)
Yeah, Soundgarden, Jimi Hendrix, etc.
Actually another good one is Judgement Night but I like that film too!
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:49, Reply)
Judgement Night does indeed have a good soundtrack.

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:51, Reply)
nods head
I fucking love that CD!
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:52, Reply)
I was struggling to decide between fury and delight
when ITV showed Rambo and put the "what's on next" voiceover on top of Stallone's speech right at the end, pretty much the most significant piece of dialogue in the whole film.
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:48, Reply)
This, plus
any Star Wars films
Any Rocky films
Raging Bull
Grease
Any Batman Films
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:32, Reply)
I love Star Wars
even the new ones

I haven't seen any Rocky, or Raging Bull.

Don't watch Grease

The Batman films are hit and miss. Batman and Batman Returns are pretty good, as are Batman Begins and Dark Knight
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:33, Reply)
omg yes
michael keaton in batman/returns....... swoon.
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:36, Reply)
Godfather I and II are indeed very good
I would recommend watching them

EDIT:
We will gloss over part III
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:32, Reply)
I've seen those
But not Top Gun or Ferris Bueller's Day Out.
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:34, Reply)
I haven't seen those two either.
Not being a bender, and all that.
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:35, Reply)
I bet you £20 you'll enjoy Top Gun.

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:38, Reply)
It has that ghastly little poof in it, so we shall never know.

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:40, Reply)
You're missing out of one of the most unintentionally hilarious films you'll ever see.

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:41, Reply)
I am aware of the massive homoerotic undertones.

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:50, Reply)
Top Gun is fucking awesome

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:36, Reply)
Aw, what?
You are missing some classic 80s cheese there, my friend.
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:38, Reply)
See, that's why I don't want to watch them
I don't like 80s cheese.
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:38, Reply)
Why not?

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:40, Reply)
The 80s were utter shit

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:41, Reply)
I dislike 80s cheese too
but Top Gun is actually a good film, despite what others may say
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:44, Reply)
Surely Monty
feels the need, the need for speed (and coke, blow, LSD, E, etc, etc, etc.)
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:46, Reply)
You can keep the speed, thanks.
Fucking horrible stuff.
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 10:48, Reply)
I used to love that stuff
