This is the answer in my heart.
I think I was hoping to be convinced that I wasn't being selfish to want to keep it at mine. Bah.

You can be convinced if you listen to the people on here.

He has a small bunch of ragtag paperclip urchins working for him
(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 14:43, Reply)
So what? you're not a mother,
I'm not dismissing your arguments based on that fact or just making assumptions about what you know about children.
(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 14:44, Reply)
I brought up my nephew with my sister 24/7 and looked after many kids of all ages.
I know from experience and not reading books about it.
(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 14:47, Reply)
I have also watched Supernanny on many occasions.

(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 14:51, Reply)
I much preferred Supergran

I'm from a Irish catholic family,
I have 8 younger cousins. I baby sat from the age of 14, I tutored 10-14 year old disabled children for three summers when I was at uni, I did work experience in child protection after uni. I now deal with child and vunerable adult cases with work.

I have also studied child development and child psychology. You don't know anything about me stop acting so superiour.
(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 14:51, Reply)
You're the one who acts superior because of your education.
This is what gets me riled. You can't possibly think I could be right in anything I say. This is why we fell out when you first came on here.
(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 14:54, Reply)
And I thought it was because I called you dull.

(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 14:56, Reply)
No that bit is true.

(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 14:57, Reply)
and I'm never going to apologise for knowing things
anyone who does is a cunt.
(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 15:01, Reply)
And you're also never going to acknowlege anyone elses experience because it couldn't possibly be correct because you've been to Uni.

(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 15:03, Reply)
That is absolute bollocks, you're the one who attacked my opinion
about this, I said absolutly nothing about yours.
(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 15:05, Reply)
You started it by saying everyone on here is wrong apart from you.
You can be convinced if you listen to the people on here.
But you and I know most of them aint right..
(PsychoChomp I recognise your voice, were you just?, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 14:30, Ignore, Reply, I like this!)

(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 15:07, Reply)

(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 15:10, Reply)
Did you give him a demonstration?
I bet you did, I bet you hitched your skirt up, whipped your knickers aside and went to town with a sourdough roll right in front of him.

(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 15:20, Reply)

(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 15:18, Reply)
AND - it's killed any chance of more Supergran related nostalgia chat.
Bah!
(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 15:12, Reply)
"Most of them ain't right"
was a reference to you lot being mentally ill, which I meant as a joke, but after reading this subthread I've changed my mind.
(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 15:21, Reply)
Well you would know having read about it.

(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 15:23, Reply)
Is that meant to be an insult?
You need to try harder.
(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 15:29, Reply)
Cunt Off, Cockface
Is that more the sort thing you had in mind?
(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 15:35, Reply)
Then you really ought to be the first person to acknowledge
that him being or not being a father has zero relevance as to whether he knows anything about children or not.
(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 14:52, Reply)
That was just sarcasm.

(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 14:55, Reply)
You have a heart?

(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 14:31, Reply)
Look Monty.
She's three? She's not going to throw a paddy because the castle is staying at yours. There will be lots of lovely presents at her house. The important thing is having something that you can share joy in playing with when she's at your house and that is far more important. As much as you love your daughter, tea sets and teddy bears isn't your bag.

If she was older then I would say let her decide but at that age it's not important.
(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 14:39, Reply)
she won't remember why it was only at daddys, she'll remember that she always got to play with an awesome castle while she was there

(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 14:43, Reply)
And that daddy loved playing with it with her.

(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 14:44, Reply)
this is good advice
