It's certainly no worse
than any of the other ideas I've had regarding my lovelife lately. DJTP and Monty are taken though sadly...

How was the soup today berk?

(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:41, Reply)
Tastier than I thought it'd be
as I discovered when preparing it that I'm not overly keen on the taste of pumpkin. So I chucked some lentils and spicy sausage in it and it was vastly improved.

Adding sausage to things can only result in an improvement.

(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:44, Reply)
except concrete.
but, I'm with you generally.
(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:45, Reply)
Sausage concrete would be good!

(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:48, Reply)
Addition of cheese or sausage
will improve just about anything unless you'd normally have it for dessert. And sometimes even then, too.

Am I the only one who likes cheese in bacon sandwiches?
My friend looked at me like I was literally mental.

EDIT: Excellent. She's the one made of wrong.
(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:49, Reply)
Nope - cheese is a great addition to bacon

(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:49, Reply)
cheese and bacon clearly go together.

(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:50, Reply)
Lordy no
cheese + bacon = win.
(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:51, Reply)
Wait a minute
You're Jewish...
(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:52, Reply)
Not in the biblical sense.

(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:53, Reply)
Paternal grandfather was a Jew.

(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:54, Reply)
then you aren't Jewish at all, it's a maternal thing, isn't it?

(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:54, Reply)
Or a chosen belief thing, no?
Or am I a bit liberal/naive in thinking that whatever religion you follow is you're own damn choice?
(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:56, Reply)
There are various flavours of Judaism
some allow for conversion, but I think most don't.
(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:57, Reply)
I don't think so, not with orthodox Jews
because it's considered an ethnicity and almost a nationality as well as a religion. I think you can convert but I'm not sure if that's as "accepted" as the maternal line.
(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:59, Reply)
I understand this happens
But it's still wrong. Religious beliefs should be a personal choice, and shouldn't be comparable to nationality.
(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 14:03, Reply)
Yes, I'm not Jewish at all
but SOME PEOPLE have decided I'm a Jew and take the shit out of me for it.
(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:56, Reply)
Ahhh
I just kept seeing you mention about being a Jew, usually when you talk about being good with money.
(, Mon 22 Nov 2010, 13:57, Reply)
Nonsense
you don't take anything from a Jew.
