they are pretty much the most attractive looking defences I've seen as well, which only goes to highlight how utterly shit the rest of the place looks.

it depends though. if it is the sort that is chock full of shitty arcades and nasty pleb hotels then they are awful. Places like Sidmouth and Budleigh near where I live are actually still very pleasant.
