Money-saving tips
I'm broke, you're broke, we're all broke. Even the smug guy on the balcony with the croissant hasn't got two AmEx gold cards to rub together these days. Tell everybody your schemes to save cash.

Shop at Aldi
Seriously guys, it's got a weird reputation (most probs due to the utter garb that is Lidls) but it's hell of alot cheaper and nout wrong with the majority of their stock.
Enjoy :)

the only place where you can buy veg, milk, bread
and four differet types of electric saw. The only warning I would have is that their continental version of lasagne uses pork and chicken mince. Very cheap, but pretty Ugh.

preaching to the converted
I'm well into aldi these days, since we found that their vegetables and meat are much fresher than asda /tesco. I actually quite like the offer of a cheap welder alongside the fabric softener.

lidls is brilliant for vegetables.
i would say, buy what you need at the most appropriate shop. For me, this means Sainsburys for fish and meat, Lidl for vegetables, Tesco for no wait i only ever go to one shop.

I went into Iceland for the first time this weekend.
Amongst all the own brand '8kg of lasagne for £3' offers they actually sell real food too for much cheaper than the main supermarkets.
You do have to have 3 showers after mingling with the regulars though.

Couldn't agree more.
The majority of their stuff is really very good and a hell of a lot cheaper than the big chains. I usually do my monthly bulk buy there and load the freezer up with a ton of stuff. Their mince has gone a bit downhill, mind, it's much fattier than it used to be.

I loved Aldi for it's cheapness and quality, until the rioters burnt ours down.

I use Aldi but tend to use Lidl more.
It's OK if you select your products. Wine is cheap but drinkable (mostly South American). Milk £1 for 4 pints, Luxury muesli spot on, massive bag of complete dog food for about £7, veg never as fresh as the big stores.

their microwave cheeseburgers
far outstrip the quality of those from the local spar.
