Make your sunglasses look like new by putting them in the top of the dishwasher on a low setting. It really works.

This is a recycled tip from Tara Palmer-Tomkinson's Sunday Times column in the late 90s.

It works for Dolby
Cinemas who use the Dolby 3D system put the glasses in a dishwasher after each show. Dolby don't call it a dishwasher, but it looks like one and works like one.

Pub glass washers are surpirisng good at this too.
Intense heat, but they fucking sparkle after.

Don't use the glass washer detergent to wash your windscreen
It contains a ridiculous amount of caustic soda that will damage the paintwork and attack the rubber strip that holds the windscreen in.
