Wash stubble thoroughly with nice hot water, wash rest of you, wash stubble again, by which time the hot water will have softened it all up and opened the pores.
Shave it off.
Spend most of the money you save from not buying shaving soap/foam+after shave on beers and prossies. Waste the rest.
(My spots cleared up pretty soon after giving up all those expensive 'good for the skin' products too...)

I add a thin layer of the cheapest nasty tesco value conditioner.
Saves me a fortune in foam, balms and aftershave and my razors last about 4 months each.

+1 for conditioner. It's fucking brilliant. Better than ANY shaving product I've ever found

Suffered for years with razor rash, hated shaving to the point of only doing so once a week.
Now I shave in the shower as the last thing I do - wash your face thoroughly with soap first, rinse, do all your other stuff, then shave. It's a piece of piss and, as said above, no products needed. I'd go so far as to say it's changed my life.
As for razors, mine's lasted for more than a year, although I don't shave every day.

... simply grow a gorgeous, healthy, (Commander Riker style) manly beard and repel 87% of the female population by default.
Still, it weeds out the shallow ones I guess. Plus, you get to lick your moustache a few hours after eating something tasty and re-enjoy the experience.
Any b3tan ladies interested in having their inner-thighs tickled?
