ThisI've never understood why people spend 10 times more on branded paracetamol. Its not going to make any difference to it effectiveness.

Actually, it does have a measurable difference.I've been looking for the exact reference but can't find it at present - I'm sure I read it in Ben Goldacre's book Bad Science.
Basically it can be summarised as a placebo effect though, so I guess if you know that then it may not actually work...
