Own brand medicines
Always buy shops own brand meds; an example, Piriteze 12 tabs £4.49; each tablet contains 10mg Cetirizine. Morrison's own brand Hay Fever tablets, 16 tablets, 10mg Cetirizine, £1.29.

This
I've never understood why people spend 10 times more on branded paracetamol. Its not going to make any difference to it effectiveness.

Actually, it does have a measurable difference.
I've been looking for the exact reference but can't find it at present - I'm sure I read it in Ben Goldacre's book Bad Science.

Basically it can be summarised as a placebo effect though, so I guess if you know that then it may not actually work...

I get 30 Loratadine (usually 6 for £3) for 68p.
