The football.
God it's frustrating. I require Liverpool taking something here against West Brom.
This should be a walk in the park, but they're making a tough time of it.

How's your football?
Bonus points for hiding your own side's incapabilities.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:49, archived)
I would like a thread without arguments, just for once.
Something happy we can all talk about.

My football is good. I want Europa League success, fuck what Harry Redknapp wants.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:51, archived)
Redknapp doesn't want Europe.
He never does. It's a distraction.
I'm not sure what from, but it's a distraction.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:52, archived)
Spurs have a nice healthy squad.
We've got at least 2 players for every position. This is definitely enough for European success.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:53, archived)
Has Danielle Lloyd scored with more Spurs players than Jermaine Jenas?

(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:54, archived)
Don't insult Jenas.
His name is shown proudly on the back of my Tottenham shirt.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:55, archived)
You want to be careful having JJ on your back.

(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:59, archived)
I was told off by some tottenham fans just before the kick off at the first Spurs Arsenal game.
It was a much different story at 90 minutes.

I always have faith in Jenas.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 15:00, archived)
He lost a lot of support here, too.
He's not living up to the early promise.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 15:02, archived)
the liverpool match in't going to affect Newcastle's chances
it comes down to Hull vs United next week, and even as a United fan, I really hope Hull get something from the match
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:51, archived)
Well if WBA win, they visit a safe Blackburn next weekend.
So it'll just kill them off.

One step at a time.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:52, archived)
an hour played an a goal down
admittedly I'm not watching the match, but I'd be surprised if Liverpool let them back into the match
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:54, archived)
there's always lots of handballs when the women's basketball association play

(, Sun 17 May 2009, 15:02, archived)
Given a win against Villa will almost certainly keep you up,
do you think Newcastle are capable of doing that at Villa Park?
I personally think you'll be relying on a draw, and hoping that Hull don't pull off an amazing draw/win against Man U.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 15:07, archived)
+ Manchester
+ Manchester
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:54, archived)
There's only one...
etc.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:55, archived)
Sorry, pet hate of mine
it's perfectly acceptable in the environs of Manchester...anywhere else and I get confused/annoyed.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:58, archived)
My team is doing brilliantly
I'm very proud of them.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:51, archived)
*Firm handshakes*

(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:53, archived)
Hmmmm
no bonus points for me, then.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:51, archived)
Chin up and all that.
There's points to be won.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:53, archived)
My emotions are seesawing, JMG

(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:56, archived)
Still, one less to worry about now

(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:59, archived)
I think anything taken from Villa will keep us up.
The big Hollywood finish.

..If the Unwashed don't win, tomorrow night. Sunday could in turn be absolutely awesome.
Results pending.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 15:00, archived)
Awesome only begins to describe that possibility

(, Sun 17 May 2009, 15:02, archived)
I think Villa would enjoy nothing more than making sure you go down.
It will be a good game regardless.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 15:03, archived)
You've said this about each team we've played for the past month.
..and the opposite for sides down there with us, MoT.

:(
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 15:06, archived)
I guess I have,
maybe I'm getting a bit caught up with the idea of a big team going down.

I'd still like the Unwashed to go down more than you though.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 15:08, archived)
Do Liverpool have anything left to play for?

(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:53, archived)
Pride

(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:53, archived)
fucking scunthorpe penalties
wahhh
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:54, archived)
WHY DON'T AWAY GOALS COUNT??

(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:57, archived)
Because they shouldn't.
Away goals is an archaic system.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:58, archived)
^this
it's a silly rule
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:59, archived)
in most situations I would agree
but in this case it went against us so away goals should have been there.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:59, archived)
I really wanted MK dons to win.
Growing up, my "local" side were Luton. There's no way I could ever support luton town. If the Dons were around then, I'd definitely be a fan.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 15:02, archived)
I predicted this.
Don't hate me.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:55, archived)
Oh wait, I've just seen the score
I didn't predict this.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:56, archived)
Not going up.
Not going down.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:56, archived)
it has long since ended, and badly, or not, no offence
great
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:56, archived)
my football is nearly flat
i need one of those schrader-to-football nozzles, or my game will be a bit weak
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:58, archived)
*pops one in the post*
I bought loads when I was in JJB, cheap as chips.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:59, archived)
good point, i'll be going past there this afternoon
i'll pop in
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 16:00, archived)
assuming you haven't bought them all, that is

(, Sun 17 May 2009, 16:00, archived)
I don't know
but I was quite freaked out by the Tevez face mask in the Sun
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 14:59, archived)
Once again The Sun represents the thoughts of its readers with a classy free gift!

(, Sun 17 May 2009, 15:00, archived)
Indeed
I'm not sure what this Tevez business is all about, as I don't have the patience to read the Sun properly

/just looks at the pwetty pictures
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 15:08, archived)
I kicked one once, I don't know where it went though

(, Sun 17 May 2009, 15:01, archived)
MY FUCKING COLD FRAME I BET
*shakes fist*
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 15:05, archived)
You have a cold frame?
Buy it a jumper, for gods sake.
(, Sun 17 May 2009, 15:14, archived)
I don't have a football.
I have sweat though, would anyone like some sweat.
