Hello, Yes.
I just had an exam. I think I did quite well considering my lack of revision.

What was your last exam like?

If you can't remember or haven't had an exam, tell me about your day.

I went for quantity over quality.
Hopefully there'll be some good stuff in amongst the crap that they'll credit me for.
(, Wed 20 May 2009, 12:31, archived)
It was on monday,
and I filled 24 pages of the answer book (two full books) in an hour and a half.

I had cramp.

I can't remember it was so fucking long ago.
I think it was multiple choice about Business Management Styles and Health & Safety laws.

It's about twelve years since I last sat an exam.
From what I remember it involved sitting in a big room and writing things down.
(, Wed 20 May 2009, 12:33, archived)
Strangely enough the first state exam I ever sat, I got the tune of The Locomotion stuck in my head.
Every exam since it starts going again once the invigilator told everyone to start.
(, Wed 20 May 2009, 12:35, archived)
Invigilator is a great word.

My last exam was the driving theory test
I scored bonus points for running over a skag 'ead with the Honda Accord.

This isn't true, is it?

No, I'm lying to make myself popular on the internet
Because I'm from /qotw.

We do have a law here.
And striving for acceptance is agin it.

(, Wed 20 May 2009, 12:35, archived)
If I last had sex over a year ago, do you really think I would be saying yey?

(, Wed 20 May 2009, 12:42, archived)
To some folk that'd be an achievement.

(, Wed 20 May 2009, 12:49, archived)
my last one was a PAT testing exam.
it annoys me because the T in PAT stands for Testing,
but EVERYONE here says 'PAT testing' so i've had to invent another initial
(, Wed 20 May 2009, 12:35, archived)
You already have a superfluous initial.
What you need is a meaning to attach to it.
(, Wed 20 May 2009, 12:36, archived)
yes, fair enough. that's what i meant.

(, Wed 20 May 2009, 12:38, archived)
We need to maintain the highest standards around here.
Otherwise we'll end up like QOTW.

Maybe if you would have worked harder you would have worked out how to use apostrophes properly.

(, Wed 20 May 2009, 12:36, archived)
I'll be honest, the most I've got out of proper apostrophe use is not having to listen to pedants here whinge.

sparked off a highly entertaining /board v /talk war last night.

Can't remember my last exam
but I have an exam story of some mild interest.

I revised for The Rime of the Ancient Mariner before my Shakespeare exam by accident.
and only realised when I saw the paper.

I also only answered half my paper in English Language and realised with about 10 minutes left
I wrote a brief explanation saying that all te questions in this section were answered in the previous and appealed to the goodwill of the examiner.
