Sort of like a free shit day off
When you're off work because you're ill, what do you generally do?

I was off ill yesterday and the day before, and I watched lots of porn and star trek, did some yoga in a stupid attempt to make myself feel better, tested out how loud my speakers went and restrung my bass. I also had bacon sandwiches, ate lots of nectarines and made myself a cup of tea in a bowl.

edit: I'm shitter than usual with this. Almost a new low. Ah well, you've had two captain-free days.

I'd probably work on some animations or web site stuff.
Perhaps a few rounds with Smash Bros Brawl.
And laying in bed feeling sorry for myself.

After all the porn obviously.

Basically what I do everyday anyway.
Minus going to work or doing any chores.

put on daytime TV
as an act of self-abuse. It gets me back to work quicker when I realise how awful life would be if I had to stay home all day.

I was so bored yesterday.
Hence the yoga.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 17:31, archived)
what kind of yoga?
Muller corner or Bio-Pot?

Hatha.

don't do the Kundalani (sp?)
the flow should only go down, not rise up (Regardie).

I bum around in my monster slippers and have hot baths when watching movies on my laptop which is perched on the toilet.
I eat crap.

If I'm ill enough to be off work, it's serious.
So, y'know, I usually stay in bed hoping for the blessed relief of death, only getting out to pebble-dash the porcelain, vomit blood or both.

What if you start to feel better?
What if you feel better at half four? That stunning work ethic, do you go in?
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 17:32, archived)
I don't work 9-5, so in the more general case of feeling better half an hour before the end of the shift,
I wouldn't - but only because it takes me the best part of an hour to get there.

When I grow up I hope I'm like you.

It would be quite different if I wasn't being paid by the hour.

AHA.
Trying to look all grown up and ethic filled.

I'm preparing for a long recovery so I have bought myself some favourite books from childhood
I'm also planning to listen to podcasts, keep listening to my German CD, do some cross-stitch and cuddle my guinea pigs.

Sleep, internet, daytime telly, get on with essays/reading.
Although the only times recently that I've not felt up to going into work have been cos of hangovers.

I had a weird flu thing.

I am still ill but I can't take a day off as I am self employed.
I just got back from having a scan.

Having no idea what's wrong with you
I shall say

congratulations
oooh dear
stroke it better

CAT scan or
the good one? (MRI)
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 17:34, archived)
MRIs are not good
They are loud and claustrophobic

Generally laze
watch Jeremy Kyle as I find it makes me feel better, drink copious amounts of tea, watch either Life on Mars, Teachers or Singin in the Rain, forget to eat, snuzz the cats, fanny about online and other things that i can't be arsed to list as this list is fairly dull itself.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 17:36, archived)
Yeah, I failed a bit asking a boring question.
