I just saw Night At The Museum 2.
It was very good and I enjoyed it a lot. However, the cinema was empty bar me.

You know why?

Because putting a film aimed at children on at 22.45 is bloody stupid, that's why.

I can't wait til G-Force is out
A movie about spy guinea pigs.

My boyfriend, friend Jo, her husband and I are going to see it. Jo and I LOVE guinea pigs.

There was an advert for that.
It looks dire.

And I can tell you here and now that they succeed.

It really doesn't look that good
I bet all the best special effects are in the trailers too.

Nah, it's just something we'd like to see, for the popcorn

^this I agree with^
although I was disappointed to learn that we in the UK had the censored version.
(, Thu 28 May 2009, 1:36, archived)
Was that the one with the annoying robot in our version
That was there to cover over the Japanese bits where they had rape and violent slaughter.

Battle of the Planets- that was it.
(, Thu 28 May 2009, 1:43, archived)
thats the one
the blokes boomerang used to decapitate the bad guys.
(, Thu 28 May 2009, 1:45, archived)
Do you remember a similar one
The Space Sentinels? Not sure if that was Japanese or American but it also had a cute robot explaining the plot. And a strangely threatening floating head that used to represent the computer and occasionally go wrong in such a way as they ended up fighting it.
(, Thu 28 May 2009, 1:47, archived)
Sentinel One
and Mo the robot.

oh yes.

I remember as a kid when marine boy came out in the UK
I think it was shown on Swap Shop.

I once went to see some movie
the entire theater was empty apart from me, the picture got kind of blury, so I went up to go to the desk to say, and as I got up the projectionist said sorry, I sat back down and smiled - trufax

then i am truly sorry.
