Neither.
It's not something I do a huge amount of, probably due to a lack of the options you mentioned. There are a few companies who ask me from time to time, and they'd know me through production/presenting work I've done in the past.

it was for a olde quake mod that was to be professionally published....however the voice over stuff did get used in Battlecruiser Millennium.

I did a voice for a game a while ago.
It was a very low budget PC detective game. My character had a bomb in his goatee apparantly. I got a free copy of the game but never got as far as my character's scene. It was low budget for a reason.

I'm not in a position to listen to that right now.
And in general, no I don't.
As I said, this isn't something I do a huge amount of.
The only thing I can say is general actor advice; be as helpful as possible, and remember that your opinions don't count, you've been hired to do what the director says, not to think.

Also remember that agencies for VO work get more demos than they know what to do with.
Many agencies admit that if you send them a demo it'll take over a year before they'll get round to hearing it.

That's not actually how the warning calls worked. It used to go as follows.
This is the [AREA] brigade of the Provisional IRA.
The codeword is [CODEWORD]
A bomb has been placed at [LOCATION] and will detonate at [Time]

And then they get the fucking time and place wrong.
