Obvious troll is obvious
Anyway, our computer system upgrade/server change has gone spectacularly tits up at work, had to raise a deviation to do some medication labels by screengrabbing the master off the PDF and putting in the expiry/batch number with MS Paint. The MHRA are going to love that one. Have you ever used MS Paint for legitimate work purposes?

Alt: deviation lol

Hypoxemia causes delusions
That label thing can't be right can it? In this context, EXCLUSIVELY IN THIS CONTEXT, what is meant by a deviation?

This.

Also I wiped my smeggy belled on it lol

I can see you run a very tight ship, deviations aside obviously

The system was supposed to be back up yesterday, but I strongly suspected it wouldn't be.
We had one request which the patient needs tomorrow, so it had to be made and dispatched today. Without being able to generate the approved label for it this morning, I had to come up with a contingency plan. The least risky option was using a copy of the approved label (including 2D barcode) and fudging it with MS Paint. I'm slightly surprised that QA approved the deviation - they did, because the alternative was the patient not getting the medication in time - and even more surprised that it actually worked.

We're pretty fucked if the system's not back up tomorrow though.

I'm currently listening to Album of the Year probably for the first time in about 25 years. I was largely underwhelmed when it came out, but it's worth a reappraisal. Last Cup of Sorrow is still a fucking tune.

Probably. I found out you can upload photos for patients in SystmOne to display in the demographics corner. Mostly it's for people who've been in prison to make it harder for them to do prescription fraud.
I spent today uploading cat photos for all of our test patients.
