Buongiorno tutti!
Today I went to the Italian Consulate on the Farringdon Road and presented my documents. I'm pleased to say I had all the paperwork in order, it's been accepted and confirmed by the official assessing my case and my application to become and Italian citizen is now being processed by the Ministerio del Interior.

All things being equal (my partner not dying or divorcing me and there not being a big European war or something) I'm reasonably optimistic than within the next two years I'll be joint British/Italian.
