There are 'old money' Italian families with their own private barrels in the producers' cellars, and they will start a barrel from the 'mother' (the vinegar equivalent to an ancient sourdough starter) to commemorate the birth of a child so they grow up to have their own personal named vinegar. It's a big fucking deal and €€€€
