Not particularly a reply to your comment but
recently on the interwebs I have found occasion to remind people that their inability to see why people want or like something, or their inability to understand why people would do something, says more about their ability to see and understand than the absolute qualities of the thing they fail to see or understand. You do not need to agree to be able to see or understand.
TL;DR horses for courses, there is no accounting for taste. Myself, I quite like it.

Man carrying baby turns just in time
The bus passengers give a feeble cheer
The car behind doesn't expect the sudden stop
Guy on the bus gets his phone out, and the photo app opens just in time for the bus to pull away at speed
Person in a trench coat rubs his or her erect penis against a young lady with a McFlurry and a tall coffee by her feet.
Child being carried is scared, and a woman, possibly his mother calls him a "pathetic little shit"
A guy in jeans and a blazer takes a selfie of himself instead of a picture of his skinny-jeaned colleague.
It is a fucking circus, that video.

That's why you should go straight to bed
It's a dissociative anesthetic, which means your brain forgets it has a body. If you K-hole in the dark, you trip out on your own thoughts, with feelings of flying through space and turning in all sorts of weird directions. Again, quite safe if you're tucked up in bed. Nick Drake's '5 Leaves Left', at around 32 minutes I remember, is not only the perfect length of the average K-hole, but also the perfect accompanying music. Try it, and believe me, you'll experience something beyond comprehension.
Been a while since I've experienced it, mind :o(

Yeah, but if you're so mashed
that you left the concept of exhilaration behind about half an hour ago, and all you have left to cling to is the fact of the physical existence of the shirt you are wearing, you might find you've forgotten ever being secured by anything.
When that happens it's a fairly pleasant relief to come round, even if you discover that you shat yourself.
