# Poor buffalo-bothering goose,
stuck in North America with only bison to bewidler

# not to mention the toll it took on the herds
*saddens*

# That looks cheery.
Unlike the rest of my day. They cut the water off for emergency repairs, so we went out, but not before one fo the kids turned on a tap. For fifty minutes, water was pissing out of the sink at a rate of about 15L/minute. The whole flat is flooded and we're just hoping it doesn't leak into the flat below as I've been mopping for ten hours and it's still pooling up. It's also far too late to phone up a carpet cleaner, so hopefully it's ok overnight.
I get the feeling that's the small amount of savings we had gone.
FUCK.

# She thought she'd turned it off as it was tight.
Unfortunately, the wrong way. All the 24-hr carpet cleaners are going to answerphones, except one very sleepy woman.

# Annnnnnnnnnnnd, relax!
Lovely, sleepy women is sending someone round - they reckon it take 60-90 minutes and cost $300-450 (200-300 squid). It's going to be a damn' sight cheaper than paying for flood damage to downstairs...

# Ah, looks like it was worse than we feared.
A ceiling light has come down downstairs. There is a very slim chance that we might not be fucked financially.
*hopes*

# That sucks
Reminds me of an incident some years ago... 3 floors flooded, and a plaster ceiling falling on my head.

But really man, that's shit

# The state the water's coming up in,
I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I can fairly safely say the last people did not have it cleaned when they moved out (that and all the cat hair).
