that took AGES. i had so many different freebase heads, none of which matched. after getting them all matched up i only used four in the end. It didn't seem to go down too well either :/

i usually just use the original and liquify it to get different expressions

hmmm.... that sounds like a top tip (i'm still learning PS)
i needed different head angles for this one though, i doubt that could be done with liquify

yeah i see what you mean
i usually just use perspective and skew to change the head direction, sometimes i don't like the differnce in the expressions from the different heads, it's like they switch too quickly, but yeah, sometimes usuing a different head is the only option.

isn't perspective and skew covered by distort?
one only does one axis and the other, the other axis? distort will do both? in the storm trooper gif, the expressions weren't crucial because most of his head was covered up, but i wanted to try and do it as best as i could, so i used multi angle heads

i'm not sure
on cs5 distort may be called warp, you could probably use that too, there's still bucket loads i don't know about that program after over 2 years of usuing it.

i could have it arse about face.
but i think warp is the one that allows you to make curves and bends, like the b3ta page in my hostbusters logo. i've shut PS down now so i can't check.
