I think it's really broke....
Every time I go to use the clipboard now it crashes....
A re-boot might fix it.

what version of PSP -- is it 8?
I am running 8 on Windows 7 and it's really buggy. It is a bit more stable if i disable themes, aero and terminal services.
The worst thing is the cropping tool. a click and drag causes the whole app to crash and burn. Most everything else is the screen redraw -- I am sure it all has something to do with the shitty on-board Nvidia card.

It was 8 til a recent re-start, I was having the same stability issues iin windows 7...
This is PSP X4, I didn't like the X interface originally but now I know where everything is its quite easy to use, still using jasc animation shop for the final giffing though, frame by fecking frame, really need to learn adobe whatsitflashiture, it would save a lot of work.
One solve I had for the stability was to turn all the visual styles off in the control panel, as it drops to basic mode when you launch it, I thought that might be causing a lot of problems, I must say I did find it more stable with the visual styles off.
