This is my Zombie protection device. A filthy great guff.
I spent too long on this not to post it. Feel free to add Lizards and/or Hulk Hogan.

zombies won by someone hacking the vote
so we did a revote. Lizard won.
Next week we're doing the vote via vote A,B,C typing in the thread and adding up as basically you lot can't be trusted to not to fuck with the voting and we don't have coders available to write voting system.

But your graphical representation clearly shows that Zombies won outright, ergo I done a zombie picture.
My flounce level is increasing oh Ginger one...

I think the word hacking implies far too much effort/specialist knowledge on my behalf.

Somebody's getting coal in their stocking.
This sounds like a euphemism.

it is bloody annoying
we don't have any resources available to code for the site. Making the site harder for us to run isn't helping either the admins or anyone really.

sadly it's innevitable
no matter how lovely you make something that you give to others to use for free, someone will still come and take a shit on it every now and then.

Next time you should just write the options on bread and leave them in the garden, then see which gets eaten first by birds
then post the video as incontrovertible evidence.

I heartily endorse this approach.
Leave it in the lap of the gods I say.

It's cheaper than coding
and could be adapted to use other animals, small children and / or random events. And potentially far more entertaining.

Why have a vote at all?
There's a shedload of suggestions, but it's your site when it comes to the crunch. Why not just pick your favourite?

Actually I thought that was how it worked
I got the impression the vote was a really recent innovation and before that Fraser just picked from the suggestions, or more often completely ignored them and pulled something from his bum.
I also never expected everyone (including Rob and Fraser) to take things quite so seriously.

Democracy. Hah
Just turn this board into a dictatorship and tell all the whingers to fuck off.
If you require assistance with the "just fuck off" posts, I will volunteer, posting them where I see fit.
I cannot believe the hoo-hah from boarders over something so trivial.

You hear that kids?
YOU BROUGHT THIS ON YOURSELVES. I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY.

Set it up similar to the suggest a compo page. Only have it so only mods can post the suggestions.
Then you don't need to mess with the code as the like button will do all the work.

but then the votes are private
it's more fun for the b3tans to see the votes. It a. means the admins aren't fixing it and b. it's fun to watch the race - not amazing fun, but of some interest/sport.
Mu, I am deeply unimpressed with you. Consider yourself not banned, but on a list I keep in my head of people who'll I'll let languish in hell should the Devil ever ask for some advice.

Yeah, I'm sorry it's caused all this fuss. But the system has always been open to abuse, I can't believe it hasn't been done before.
In my defence I picked the one that was already winning, and was quite honest about what I was doing.

you could also sit there posting scat porn day in day out
but you don't, not because there's code that prevents it, but that it would be a rubbish thing to do

Yes. But that does happen, only not as often as it's such a visible occurance that it's rectified extremely quickly, and linkable to an account.
The vote rigging is much more anonymous, to the point you probably wouldn't have even noticed it had happened if I hadn't admitted to it.
